MITZONE Engine Valve Cover Compatible with 2014-2017 Nissan Altima Rogue Murano 2014 Pathfinder 2014-2017 Infiniti Qx60 2.5L Replace # 13264-3KY0A

I install this valve cover on my 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5l because my PCV valve was sucking oil into the intake. The PCV is built into the valve cover and so I opted for this kit. I like that it contained new bolts, oil cap, and PCV hose. (Note: The hose must be trimmed for length, but otherwise works perfectly). It installed easily, and everything aligned perfectly. I highly recommend this kit if your Altima is smoking after long drives (PCV sucking oil) or if you have oil in your plug wells causing misfires. I had both problems and this solved them both (I also had to replace plugs and coils because carbon tracks had formed from arching through the oil) Fits great, no leaks. 1-2 hour install, depending on your skill level and tool set. Surprisingly high quality, fit, form, and function for an affordable aftermarket part.

If you have a Nissan vehicle with the 2.5liter 4L engine. Get this and replace the plastic cover now. Why: The cover is aluminum. This means it should warp in unison and to the same degree with the block as the engine heats up. The issue with plastic pans and covers in an engine is they warp at far lower temps than the block. This is what breaks the gasket seal over time. Lastly, because this valve cover uses through cover ignition coils, having the covers gaskets fail can also lead to fouling of spark plug terminals and coil packs with dirty oil. CAUTION: Some ignition coils will have their rubber seals and couplings fail due to oil ingress, causing them to literally fall apart when removing. Value benefits: The value of the item is well worth it compared to months of running through 36$ jugs if oil. Installation: Installation is NOT easy as at most two motor mounts need to be removed. The engine needs to be held up from the bottom while doing this job. NOTE, this is not a negative of the product but the engine itself. You may need to hire a shop to do it. Est 2-4hr job. I suggest using RTV with this as the mating surface on the head does not have a groove for the gasket to sit in. Results: After one week of driving we have noticed both an increase if power, fuel efficiency, and oil retention. The seal is good and the outside of the engine is dry. This is not just city driving but days with cross state driving too. The functionality of this product is proven to work extremely well when installed correctly and with additional sealant.
