This book was definitely anxiously anticipated, the author took a break from this story line so when I saw that a story was available I was very excited.There was alot of small side stories going on in this book so I wasn't mad at the cliffhanger ending because the author is very good at giving the follow up story in the next book.The pack is expanding in more ways than one, which is exciting!Now the reason for my 4 star review, is there are too many characters to keep up with, especially when you go a long time before releasing a story. Please create a character tree and brief description of each character so we can refer to it, or put it on your website. That would be very helpful because it's hard to remember everybody.2nd downfall of this book is like most authors, they have so many thoughts in their head but when it translates to the written word it's often muddled and needs more description. There were some points in the book where I wasn't sure what was being talked about or why it was even in the book.Overall great story and I think one of the better ones because it wasn't as heavy as most of them.Definite read if you're a fan of the series.

This is what it feels like to have your heart broken and repaired with Sentinel glue and loving every millisecond of it! Due to the pandemic we had to wait a bit for Sentinel, but boy oh boy was it worth the wait!!! A needle well and truly threaded! Audrey Faye surpassed herself with this book. I don't have the words to adequately describe how much I loves this book and all its complicated layers, but I am going to try anyway.If you are new to Ghost Mountain, please don't start here, this book won't make any sense to you if you haven't read the previous seven. Start with Alpha and enjoy the ride!In this book we get to meet the real Rio, not in the sense that he has been deceiving before this, but he has his cracks well locked down and this book is tearing all of them open and we are along for this journey.There is healing to be done and fighting and in this book, finally, Hayden gets to shine as well, he gets to be alpha in the best way possible and I absolutely love this for him! In the last 6 books (Heart to Elder) the focus has been on the submissives, rightly so, and in this book they are bedrock as the dominants get to be a big part of the healing process as well. I absolutely loved every single page of this book and have been crying, smiling, laughing and yearning to hug every single shifter in this book. So good.

If you haven't read any book I the Ghost Mountain wolves series, please don't start here. There is just too much back story for you too enjoy this book properly.That said, another terrific book which was worth waiting for. Much more complex than other books in this series as it intertwines different members of the Ghost Mountain wolves pack. There are two main focuses of this book - Raven's new baby together with Xander and Milos homecoming. Xander and Milos homecoming was never going to be easy. You can see the progress made within the pack and it is nice to see the cats, ravens and Ivan (the polar bear) who all turn up for the birth. Don't want to say anymore as I don't believe in spoilers.Not a cliffhanger but issues remain to be resolved in later book(s).

This series is very intense . I fell in love with this pack's story from the first book and I was addicted. This book was long awaited but it didn't disappoint. It delivered . Like all the others you can't help but get sucked into it and feel and see the words unfolding from the book. This series broke me as much as it lifted me up because that's what is about the rise of this pack after everything they've been through. And how their deep ties together are what bring them back on their feet cause they work as a whole .I can't emphasize how much this author is good at making you go through the emotional turmoil her characters are going through. These books are heavily loaded with lots of sadness and hurt and PTSD and depression and self blame . I love that we get to see all different perspectives of the characters involved or at least as much as the author can insert of them. And although each of these characters are broken in one way or another they always try to be the hard rock for the other to stand on. This series is about the rise of this pack with the help of it's own members and others that came to love and feel responsible for allowing the tyranny and the gruesome events that bestowed this pack before Hayden became its Alpha.This book concentrates on Rio this pack's sentinel who has a heavy weight on his shoulders with the obligations he has as a man, wolf and sentinel towards his pack and packmates. He puts so much pressure on himself but his pack are not blind and as much as he is their rescuer , they are his. I loved the twist at the end. And I'm looking forward to see how things are gonna play out in the next book which I'm hoping won't be too long to release.

This book is elegant and has touched areas of my past trauma that I thought I had buried deep enough not to feel any more.I have learned more about healing and hope and possibilities that years of counseling.Thank you
