This kohl is not creamy and hence doesn't slide as effortlessly as I had expected. It's alright but wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for something that just slides so easily. This one, you feel the pencil on your lid.My favourite two are nix and rimmel. They really do glide super easy as if they have cream in them.

Needed a pencil eye liner as I found my gel one was a bit dramatic for an everyday look and wanted something a little softer. Bought this one as it was cheap and recommended by Amazon. (Plus it was Prime eligible)First use, I didn't have a sharpener on me and the pencil was a little sharp (uncomfortable) as it went on. As it wasn't sharpened it was a pretty thick line but wasn't super dark so actually looked quite good. Stayed in place all day even in windy conditions when my eyes water continously. Easy to wash off with a makeup wipe at the end of the day. I was so impressed I used it as an alternative to my gel liner for date night (see picture)

I generally like Rimmel London products, I am just not sure I like this kohl pencil for a number of reasons.First of, whenever I sharpen the pencil for a precise line the tip just breaks. The pencil got significantly shorter in two weeks of use :) !Lasting long? NOPE .. It smudges super easily minutes after I apply it and makes my eyes look messy.The colour intensity is meh, is more greyish than black ...So, this kohl is just wasn't what I was hoping for.

First time of using it needed sharpening. I tried and tried to sharpen it with my current sharpener, to no avail. After one use it is no good at all. So soft it jammed my sharpener and it just sits here now, useless. Don't waste your money.

I’ve used Rimmel kohl eyeliner for years and now my 19yr old daughter uses.She purchased this within big order with first pay check.Great liner soft enough to be gentle on eyes and to be used on waterline but firm enough to draw straight lines and sharp flick .This liners not fancy but it’s an old classic that does the job and as saying goes why fix something that’s not broke? Great price for great product

As it's khol, this eyeliner will smudge if you rub it and it does tend to fade a bit as the day goes on. That said, it goes on easily and is great for waterlines, so all it needs is a little touch up before evening. It's not as vivid as a liquid eyeliner so I love to use it when I'm trying for a more natural/subtle look. Also, unlike some "pencils" this is actually wood, not plastic, so it can be sharpened as you need it.It does exactly what I'd expect from a khol eyeliner and I'll happily purchase another when this one runs out.
