great appearance NOT for plaster walls. Read reveiw
The paper looked fantastic on the wall. My walls are plaster so they have a bit of a pimply texture. All of the paper started falling off day 2. I used 3m adhesive to reattach but that failed two weeks later.Your walls must be very smooth gypsum drywall. I imagine if you power sanded a plaster wall it could adhere long term. Had to pull it down. could have waited a few more days and it would have done that for me. tip: definately overlap about 1/8" applying.

Looks great
I had a little project that I really wanted to incorporate a reclaimed brick look into and this was just the ticket. Now that I am working from home I have been sharing a desk in my bf’s man cave and though he’d have gladly relinquished his cave, I declined and decided on a decent compromise since his L-Shaped desk drove me nuts anyway- a closet office. He gets most of the room and I get a wee little nook that has my style all over it but can be tucked away.Anyway, the pattern on this lines up beautifully, this was my first ever time installing wallpaper and I have now been given a possibly false sense of confidence in my newfound ability.Additionally, this is super forgiving wallpaper if you get a wrinkle or a tear in it. It’s just such a busy design, you’d never know. The only reason I got wrinkles is because I left my anchors for my frame in the wall, but it was easy to smooth around them and make it kind of blend in with the pattern. It’s VERY adhesive but if you go slow, you need not worry. Mine did get stuck to itself but I gently worked it back and got it put up properly. I’ve had no shrinkage here in hot and humid Texas, so maybe I’m lucky. I’m thrilled with how this turned out, very easy to cut and line up, color looks on-par with the picture. Happy with my choice!Don’t judge my project, it’s still got a bit of things left to get done ;)

Great quality!
Love Roomates wallpaper, such good adhesion and very forgiving! I’ve used a few other brands and without a doubt roomates is the best! Just make sure to wash your walls good with mixture of water and vinegar first and let dry well and be careful to not touch the sticky back as much as possible while installing and it will turn out great, even with these steps other brands don’t turn out as well!

Perfect!
I’m in my mid 70s and never have wallpapered. But moved into a cottage type home with a massive black speckled granite fireplace. It had to go. It literally took one afternoon and evening to transform the fireplace and the room. The wallpaper looks realistic enough to fool most visitors. I followed the directions and comments from others so it was relatively easy to put up. I was pleased with how strong the paper was -- no tears, etc. One hint from an experienced wallpaper: use a straight pin to pop any bubbles. They disappeared. Would highly recommend.

Adhesive on product is not very strong and will need to use a blow dryer to heat adhesive.
This product is very beautiful once applied, but does take a lot more effort than expected. It took me two days to get this applied to one large wall in my bedroom and was more difficult than expected. After it was up, I let it sit overnight and it stayed up. However, there were a lot of air bubbles and some paper losing its adhesion to the wall. I got my blow dryer and heated up and smooth out all of the bad areas, which was most of it, and since then the paper is fully adhered to the wall with no other problems. This process of heating the adhesion was also time consuming and took me a few hours. If you decide that this is something you just gotta' have, then be prepared to put some time and a lot of effort into it. I also applied this by myself, not sure if it would be better if I had help, but it is possible to get it done with just one person.

Awesome addition to boys' room wall
I have waited a couple of months to review this product. I received one roll for free and purchased one. Both are the brick pattern and are on a newly painted wall, in a boys' bedroom. Hope this review is helpful.Appearance: It is extremely realistic - very convincing to the eye. Better yet, my wife, who hates things that she says "feel cold," loves this. She keeps saying how well it matches the cream colored walls, and how it is "warm" (whatever that means).Durability: I saw a couple of reviews that mentioned peeling (though one said it sticks right back down). I haven't had any trouble. I don't know how conditions might apply, but in our case we waited a few weeks after painting (the instructions say wait two weeks), on an eggshell Benjamin Moore paint. During application it was easy to remove and re-stick small portions, but obviously we were careful not to do that too often. Instructions say it's washable with a mild soap.Applying: The process was similar to wallpaper, but with zero mess, and it was perfectly easy to correct mistakes. Don't let it stick to itself (sticky side). The material is strong enough to work with (we had no holes or tears).Price: It's pricier than other options. But I think the fact that it peels off so easily makes it ideal for a lot of uses out of the ordinary (esp smaller places). The box shows it on the risers of a stair case, which I'm sure looks entirely real in person.Overall, we love this.

Realistic look and good adhesion
I like the pattern and it looks real enough that my granddaughter and then her mom both went to touch it to see if it was a brick feel (it’s not). Unfortunately it took me awhile to match up the pattern enough to make that happen and it was only a small area in my kitchen that I did. The repeat ( at least for me) was difficult to find and then blend to make it look seamless. I couldn’t bring myself to continue it on through the rest of the kitchen backsplash that day and have decided to wait for some long winter days before trying again. I had tiles on the wall for a long time but since it was such a mess to remove during a reno I swore I wouldn’t do it again after much patching and clean up. This was supposed to be my easy plan b - so far not so much. The adhesion is good and it hasn’t peeled or bubbled behind my microwave so I guess I just need to suck it up and try again.

Good Accent Paper
Very nice paper to add some personality to your home space. Was reluctant to order due to the reports by some reviewers of it peeling but not my experience at all. Have had it up for over a month and no hint of letting go; believe it has to do with the wall prep. Used this in my RV around the stove area, and the centre hole and the whole back wall of the entertainment centre to add some character (when you open any of the doors it appears as if the back wall is all stone). In both locations I washed/scrubbed the wall (covered with a vinyl adhesive covering typically found in RV's and a paper board) with paint thinner to remove any grease/dirt and then washed that down with soap and water thoroughly. If you have a painted wall would suggest a sand to scuff the surface to ensure adhesion. The paper allows you to lift and reposition quite easily if not aligned properly and I even did this 3-4 times in one difficult spot with no problem. I did allow for the 1/8 overlap as per the instructions should shrinkage occur. Did the job myself as am patient to ensure I do a good job and it was easy enough. Took a little bit to figure out the pattern match up and you do lose a bit between each row to allow for that. Had ordered 2 rolls and still had some left over. Tried to use a credit card at first to flatten/omit any air bubbles but it did cut the paper in the corner so resorted to a plastic spreader like the ones found in a hardware store and that worked perfect without damaging the paper. As to the paper, would describe the colour as an orange/clay colour with cream white rather than the described red, and would have preferred that to be a bit darker. Also would have really liked if they had made the paper textured to show more character as is found in wallpapers. I did order the dark red roll as well but the red and contrasting white pattern didn't work with my cabinetry which is a maple colour.Would definitely recommend the product and hope they will go the extra mile to introduce a textured paper (then would rate it as great) as the improvements are worth the cost and effort. Was impressed with the overall look as it definitely gives the space more character so ordered a different pattern from the same company to do the wall above the bed. Don't think you can go wrong using this product if you do the necessary prep work.

Pattern
I did walls and I love how it turned out. Matching any wall paper with a pattern is hard work, but this was so worth it. Transformed my room, to be industrial, but I added soft touches here and there and it s new space. Love it. I picked up the same wall paper at Wal-mart....measured ,cut ready to hang and it did not have any stick to it. Terrible frustrated, so this was great

Great product, easy to work with!
I waited a couple weeks to review because I had so many worries about ordering this product due to other reviews. I had a very strict budget for this project and I was a little nervous after reading about the shrinking of the paper and the reviews of the paper falling off the walls. I watched a lot of video first about application as I have never applied any type of wall covering before.First I scrubbed my walls like really washed them well, not a quick wipe, and a couple times at that, hoping that would help the wall covering stick (it did) and dried the walls with a microfiber towel. I wanted a backsplash look for my apartment kitchen it's very outdated and I wanted to spruce it up, so I applied two rolls there. I have extremely uneven cupboards and I still was easily able to apply the product, it is very forgiving and I was able to fix any mistakes really easy. It was easy to match up aswell. As for the shrinking and peeling I've had neither. I think a lot of the shrinking is due to stretching a paper. You need to treat it as a decal and simply smooth it out as you apply it and carefully match it up because stretching it is what will cause the shrinking back to its original size, it isn't wallpaper it's a decal covering. I did very slightly overlap like some reviewers suggested (thanks everyone!) And I think it turned out lovely. I did do it by myself it took 5 hours in total mind you I was working around a lot of uneven obstacles so it would be faster in other kitchens, but I couldn't be happier. It is a great, affordable product for renters! (I also tested a strip first for removal purposes and my wall was fine underneath).I included before and after photos of the kitchen

Erreur dans la description
Il y avait une erreur dans la description. Il est écrit que le produit couvre 28,18 mètres carrés alors que c'est en pieds carrés. Il a donc fallu commander plus de rouleaux que prévus.

Not Bad
We bought this paper in the hopes that it would look like real brick but unfortunately it didn’t. It looked ok but you can definitely tell it’s paper. Plus I’m not a fan of ”peel and stick” wallpaper as you can’t slide it in to the perfect position. Not for us!
