The food is in a silver dollar-sized, 1/2 inch thick, firm gel disk. I tried it out prior to our planned vacation. The fish loved it. We have a lot of fish, and it lasted almost 2 days. It did not foul the water. This would work great for 3 or 4 fish for maybe up to 4 days. This is the best "vacation" food I've seen so far. I'm going to use a couple of these for our mob for the upcoming week of our vacation.

My fish love this to eat these and I don't have to feed them everyday.

Works great but it sometimes creates a film that clogs the filter. No big deal just clean the filter and it is fine. Nothing bad to the water quality.

Used this product for a long time and being able to have it shipped directly too home instead of searching all over wal-mart and lucky if it was ever in stock. This is great for when we travel.

I have tried several different vacation type feeding solutions (except mechanical) and my fish seem to like this product the best. It doesn't seem to just lay in the water and disolve, the fish take right to it and even my guppies have no problem getting food.

My fish like this food. Easy to feed on weekend when I'm not home. Only thing I didn't like, the filter and the tank get very dirty and cloudy..very quickly.

We left for 5 days for a volleyball tournament and when we got back the block of food looked the exact same as when I stuck it in there. I don't think our fish ate for 5 days. I am glad we were not gone longer than that because they probably would have died.

Very helpful when you go away for a couple of days. The fish seems to love it
