After reading several reviews on this lamp, a couple of which said there was no shade included, I ordered the lamp. It had the features & design I had been looking for. However, when I received & unpacked the lamp, there was NO SHADE. As I do not want to have to search & pay for something that was supposed to be included, I am returning the lamp. Very disappointing! So, buyer beware.

Liked the lamp very much. Except the fact that the three way switch, despite having a label saying 3 way, was not. Lamp so difficult to get out of box it was easier to replace the switch. Which I did. It works now. Had to spend exta $5.97.

I really like the lamp. I am impressed with the weight of the base that stabilizes the lamp. I have only one problem with this shipment: the product description says the shade is included. However, the package held only the lamp. Is the product description in error? Must I buy the shade separately?

This is an absolutely gorgeous lamp. I bought it to be next to my roll-top desk in my home office, since the overhead lighting was inadequate. It is working perfectly, with the extended arm feature allowing it to light up the desk surface well although the lamp is to the side. A three-way compact fluorescent bulb works fine in it. I had no trouble assembling the lamp. I just bought a second one to use in my bedroom next to another desk. I highly recommend this carefully crafted, beautiful lamp.

I bought this for my mom, and she just loved it. I like the heavy duty base, for a more stable lamp. My mom loves the classic antique design of the lamp.

Product was well packaged and arrived quickly. Assembly is required. Two poles (shafts) were supplied and one must use these poles to assemble the lamp. It takes a little time, but when finished it looks great and works quite well.

Considering the price, I expected a bit better fit and finish. The finial bolt was improperly recessed into the finial and I needed to figure out how to adjust it. Got it done, but others might have returned the lamp instead.

I really like this lamp. It is very pretty and sturdy. The only problem was the finial which I ended up glueing to make it stop wobbling.
