Improve your career for the cost of two pints
Presenting can make or break careers. That's why I strongly recommend The Five Deadly Sins of Presenting Creative Work. It's smart. Short. And super practical. If you're client facing (or just want to be a better internal presenter) this book is for you.

“The work will sell itself” has never been true. This book will teach you how to actually sell creative work.
Kerry brilliantly illustrates how to avoid the common mistakes made when presenting creative work through this fun, quick-read book. If you’re a young ad agency creative, this is a must-read. If you’re a seasoned presenter, you’ll find helpful reminders and also easy-to-explain ways to help your less-seasoned staff present the work. And if you’re an advertising professor, make your students read this book. We’ve lost so much of the art of selling in the agency business, and this book is a great reminder how to get it back and why we should. This should be one of those ad books on nearly every shelf, like Luke Sullivan’s Whipple.

The sixth deadly sin would be to not read The Five Deadly Sins.
The sixth deadly sin would be to not read The Five Deadly Sins. It is a good read, and packed with common-sense and helpful tips on presenting almost anything, but particularly creative work. I have seen a lot of good work die, crying out in it's last breath for someone to simply present it more clearly and powerfully. This book can help prevent that. Remembering that "you are always on stage" when you have the floor is a wonderful lesson in itself. I wish I had read this when I was younger.

In the ad agency business, creative work is sold ...
In the ad agency business, creative work is sold to the client [by creative presentations]. The book, “The Five Deadly Sins of Presenting Creative Work,” by Kerry Z. Feuerman (2018), is a masterful guide on avoiding and countering disasters, and on being a masterful presenter. “The Five Deadly Sins …” packages a measure of Feuerman’s brilliance and experience, and equips readers with powerful education and inspiration. Read this book, and [sell the work]. -- JodyTucker.com | April 22, 2018
