Many countries utilize a bidet for properly cleaning their backside. Here in the U.S. it is far too common for folks to just use dry paper to clean up after a major transaction. Now let's think about this for a minute. Would you clean your dishes, your car, your household floors, or any other part of your body with just a folded (or wadded) piece of soft, dry paper? I should hope not. So why do Americans think that some thin, soft paper is going to properly clean up the mess between their cheeks? Squeeze some chocolate pudding in between a couple of basket balls, then wipe it off with some toilet paper. Did you get every little bit of it, or did it smear and leave behind a thin film and/or little bits here and there? This is why I installed a smart bidet in the master bathroom of my home, but my wife and children have tried it and don't care for it at all.That is why when I saw an online ad for Fohm, I was excited to try the product, since I figured it would provide a safe and effective way of "cleaning up" vs. my family's previous method which was using those "flushable wipes." When the Fohm product arrived, I quickly installed it and asked my family to try it. They found it to be easy and even somewhat fun to use, and I love the fact that the device is completely touchless. Only two things prevent this device from being absolutely perfect in my opinion. First of all, the sensor is a bit overly sensitive, so anything that comes near the device will set it off, and you will end up with a dollop of the foamy cleaner on your floor or countertop. The second thing is that the Fohm refills are not available on Amazon.com. I get it, the makers of Fohm want you to go to their website in hopes that you will sign up for their subscription service. But come on, if you are going to sell your product on Amazon.com then you should also provide refills on the same site! By not doing so you are just creating a bunch of confusion, and I am positive this has cost you sales from potential customers. Other than those two things, I consider this a truly 5-star product and I highly recommend it to others.

Just received this item. No where on the advertisment does it state that it does NOT come with a foam. I was expecting at least one foam to try this product out. Now I have to wait for a foam before we can try it! I would have purchased the foam at the same time that I ordered the dispenser if I knew that it would not come with one! Disappointed.I was not going to open this soap dispenser until I received the soap (that I just ordered because it does not come with one soap). I am EXTREMEMLY DISAPPOINTED that it is used. It even looks like it has black mold on it.RETURNING!

This product is great in theory. I would really like to stop buying wipes. Someday maybe I can afford to upgrade to a bidet… until then, this seemed to be the perfect compromise. I’d say it does deliver on everything it promises. It’s easy to setup and use. My only problem is that the toilet paper seems to fall apart after getting the foam on it and wiping. This is probably on me… I think I need to experiment with different types of TP to find the perfect one. Until I find the perfect TP, this product isn’t very useful for me, which is why I only gave it 3 stars.

I like it! It's surprisingly simple and effective. The easy-to-miss tip to wipe dry (bulk), then wet (clean), and dry again (to dry) is very helpful. My only difficulty was the installation instructions, which I found confusing and wrong. I followed them and the metal bracket fell off the wall as too heavy. The trick turned out to be sticking one side of the wall tape directly to the wall (no metal hanger), pressing hard, and letting it sit for an hour. Only then do I hang the whole assembly (including the other half of the velcro) to the wall. I also have no idea how to refill it if it ever runs out.

To be honest we have only occasionally used wet wipes but that being said it's nice to have an option for a similar concept The key with this product is choosing the right tp (we use bamboo) that doesn't immediately disintegrate when foam is applied Secondly we simply use the on/ off button to activate the foam each time. That way the auto sensor doesn't go off when not needed allowing us to keep it right next to our tp We use 2 pumps and it works perfectly No allergic reaction or irritation Love the ingredients Also we've had no battery issues and so far we have not needed a replacement cartridge and have used it for 6 months til now I would love a refill option that saves plastic but think the pricing is reasonable as it lasts so long

Ever since living with a septic system I have tried to flush little paper. Now I am on sewer, but continue with conservative habits, and avoid flushing anything unnecessary. At the same time I've looked for easy cleansing without using excess water like with a bidet. Fohm seems to be the answer.I do need to mention the unit arrived with incorrect Command adhesive strips and I had to get the two sided adhesive strips myself. The ones in the box had something similar to a hook and loop surface on one side.

Had all the makings of being good, the sensor goes off whenever you're remotely close to it, constantly falls off the wall and the amount that comes out is usually inadequate. Avoid.

This product does exactly as it says. Best purchase that I've made in a long time.

I like it, but now that Amazon doesn’t sell this anymore, I can’t get the replacement cartridges sent to my home in Canada. Brutal.
