Excellent book for power electronics. Small signal analsis was extremely helpful for control loop design. Highly recommend.

great text but poor hinge for hard cover model
The material of the book covers very well the topic of power electronics. However, my hard cover book hinge collapsed soon due to the large size of it (+1000pgs) so I recommend a paper cover whenever is available.

Very good, especially when read in conjunction with the Coursera courses in Power Electronics

Great Material, Poor Binding
The material covered in this book is absolutely fantastic.However, the quality of the hardcover is severely lacking. At 1084 pages, this is a hefty text and the weak and low quality binding feels substandard. I don't see it lasting very long with any significant use.Does not help that Amazon shipped the book by just throwing it into a padded envelope with no support. Luckily it arrived safely, but looking at past reviews you can see that not everyone was as lucky.

The book arrived with the cover and some sheets detached from the rest of the book.
