It is messy for the fish tank where i have my turtle, it plugged up the pump, and the turtles did not seem eager to eat them.

I didn't expect it to be such a huge bag of bugs....lol but these will last a very long time for me. My 3 turtles will eat one to one and a half each and then be full for the rest of the day. Which is good because the smaller food pellets don't satisfy them the same way.Its recommended to re-hydrate (sorta) before feeding them to your pet. I just use a small old deli container and put a few grasshoppers in it and about an inch or two of water. They rehydrate in about 20 min. DOn't re use the water spill it out it turns rust brown. I rinse the rehydrated hoppers off as well just in case.There are a lot of powder and crushed bits but 98% are perfect. you definitely get a lot for your money with these...also resealable zip bag.

I feed these to my bearded dragon, and he LOVES them. Eats them as readily as live food, but these are a lot easier to keep.

My turtle Frank loves these! Highly recommend!
