I cannot say enough good things about this product
I purchased the Quick Snap TM 18" Plaform directly from Zinus.Because I depend on Amazon reviews for many of my purchases, I thought I would post my experience here along with some photos. The frame arrived in one very long, narrow box. It was heavy. But as a 68 yr old I managed to drag it into the house before unboxing the contents. Upon opening the box, all pieces were clearly labled and well packaged. Putting the Quick Snap together could not have been easier. It literally was a 'snap'.The 'ledge' on which the slats rest upon are recessed just enough to make the slats end up even with the top of the frame (please see my photo). The one thing I think is such a great idea, that they do not mention, is the Velcro. The black straps holding the slats together is one side of the Velcro and the other half of the Velcro is on the 'ledge' where the slats rest. Once you unroll the slats and put them down, they stay put. Very cool. Also, on two of the slats, there is an option to use the tape available (on the slat) which will prevent your mattress from moving.I love the 18" height. It makes getting out of bed as easy as getting up off a chair.

may spontaneously break on you
I saw this product pop up, I had a previous good experience with one of their frames this one seemed amazing no bolts easy to put together tall, I will say it arrived quickly was easy to put together you just a little hammer and you have a bed after a little over a month of use one of the welds that the long parts of the frame snap into snapped off in the middle of the night my bed collapsed and then folded it over on itself, I've tried calling the company multiple times and left a message for a prompt reply and have yet to get a response for customer support, I'm not sure if it's a bad weld or if the design where they snap in is just a little flawed but you may want to be careful or you'll end up on the floorupdate: company responded to me on Amazon asked me to email or call back due to high volumes have done both multiple times, the product they say comes with a five year warranty but best i can tell they are either ignoring calls and emails about the product or apathetic being they have had close to a month to respond

Perfect
It was just what I expected it to be and more. So here's the low-down. This bed provides copious storage space underneath. So much so that I actually built a wall of boxes underneath and made a little doorway so that if an attacker ever tries to come into my house I will have a nice little cave to hide under XD Furthermore, this baby is totally solid. It was also extremely easy to assemble. We didn't even look at the directions until the end when we were installing the wood slats to make sure they were lined up properly. All the pieces are numbered and it even comes with a little rubber hammer to use to hammer all the slots in place. So the real test is will it hold? Is it firm? Does it squeak/creek? Well I plopped right down on it and not a single noise! That said I'm only 145 lbs. Maybe someone larger would break it. According to the listing this frame can withstand 2000lbs of weight. Seeing as my mattress is one of those fancy organic rubber foam mattresses taht is super heavy (like I can't even move this thing on my own, it requires 2-3 people to lift it), I needed something really sturdy that can withstand the test of time. This thing is amazing. The wood slats take the weight of my mattress so well and my bed feels more solid and even than ever. I love it. It also has slots so you can attach it to any headboard that meets the same measurements of where the slots are located. Well my frame was about an inch to wide and an inch too high, so we rigged up some boards to hold firmly to the headboard. Worked like a charm. It did not come with any nuts or bolts. We needed to use our own. Also, the wood slats have felcro so you don't even need to screw them into the frame. They were so easily adjustable. One last thing that was provided was an adhesive tape on the wood slats so that if you have one of those really light foam mattresses it won't slide around. Well my mattress is so heavy that it wasn't necessary to adhere it to the wood slats, but I thought that might be useful for anyone who wasn't sure whether or not to get this rimless frame (the frame is totally flush with the wood slats). So, what do you do to make a pretty plain looking frame like this look nice attached to a fancy headboard? Well, I just put a fancy velvet bedskirt on it before putting the mattress down and Voila! Now no one can see under the bed. No one would know that this is a combination bedfram-box spring just by looking at it :)

This Bed Frame is Dangerous... Collapsed and Caused Damage.
This bed frame is dangerous. This Bed Frame lasted 3 Months and then collapsed. The "Extra Strong metal frame" completely broke at the "Quick Snap" joints at the head of the bed while my petite girlfriend was sleeping. The legs shot out and put two rectangular holes in the wall. We had items under the bed that were smashed. We are thankful that our pets were not underneath when this happened, as they tend to sleep there. This product claims to have a 5 year warranty as well, but after calling the customer service line 10 times, no one has picked up or called me back. This is a dangerous product. Please be aware and do not purchase it.

Goldie Locks says this is just right!
Thought I maybe the 18 inch was too big, but it was a perfect fit to storage the average size totes! It is 18 inches to the top bar.Took 5 minutes to put it together! Great for the older homes where a queen box spring won't fit up the stairs!

Weld broke out of box. Wouldn’t recommend. Customer service very poor.
Would be a breeze to assemble if weld didn’t break by touching it, I spent an hour drilling holes and using a brass bolt to secure connection because weld broke out of box. It’s not very sturdy however it sits high, so might be just leverage issue being tall it sways more. If you need replacement part process is a nightmare so either fix yourself like I had to do or throw in the garbage because nobody is going to help you/refund you or send new part other than maybe amazon but shipping back be a process.

Nice and high, NOT AT ALL STURDY
I picked this frame because, as a 6 foot tall woman, I like having a frame that is higher off the ground. I live alone, and was able to carry the package upstairs and put it together on my own, but one of the pieces was pretty tricky to tap in. I am 165lbs, and have only every slept in this bed alone, and wow, I would not feel safe with another person in the bed. This frame is SUPER unstable, and very wiggly. It needs to have support beams in the centre and along the sides. I would not purchase this again, and need to look into how to make it more sturdy, or return it.

Super study and easy to assemble
This took me about 30 minutes to put together by myself. Here’s a tip do the outer frame upside down that way the floor can keep one of the slots still for you, makes it MUCH easier and it’s not to heavy to flip over without the slats on.Overall great frame doesn’t move at all when I get on the bed. This frame is amazing for someone who doesn’t have a box spring but wants a taller bed with TONES of under bed storage!10/10

Poor quality, but at least it was easy to assemble!
I really wanted to like this bed: it was easy to assemble and looked sleek with lots of storage. Unfortunately, it was uncomfortably high (should have listened to the other reviews). Also, because of the height, it was unpleasant to see all the items stored underneath, even though it was all tidy and organized. The worst part though, was that I was kept up all night because the bed wobbled every time my partner moved - even with our top-of-the-line mattress. When we took the bed apart after just one single night of sleep, we saw that the support leg in the centre had bent. We weigh under 300lbs combined, so this was a surprise. We got a refund and we're now shelling out for a better quality bed.

Great frame
It is a strong frame, easy to assemble between two people (I did it on my own, though I managed, it took me a long time). When buying it, I didn't notice this is its bolts and nuts counterpart, which I think was great, it adds to a really firm and safe assembling. The space underneath is great for storage for those who need it , it really didn't matter to me as I like to keep it free and clean as opposed to stuff accumulating dust, and since my mattress is really tall, it aggregated to the overall height which I didn't like, but it's OK. The slats set was just about enough to give the mattress a safe foundation. I bought it because I had the infamous box-spring system over another frame and it was deforming my brand new mattress. This is just what I needed, the mattress got as firm and straight as it can. I just noticed I got for a reasonable price of $148.85 and now it's gone up more than the double, I don't think it's worth it, so be attentive for bargains on Amazon as I noticed the other models also change prices constantly.
