Sony BRAVIA 4K KD-65X89J - 65-inch - LED - 4K Ultra HD (UHD) - High Dynamic Range (HDR) - Google TV - (Black) [Energy Class G]

Got the 75” version on a lightning deal ( last of the stock ) so amazing value for a Sony of this size. Only minor differences to the 2022 model. Did loads of research before choosing this one and have not been disappointed so far. The Google tv interface is an improvement to Android tv and set up was straight forward using my Google account. Was surprised to find the familiar youview tv guide installed but tv also has a native android tv system and it can’t make its mind up which to use ( May uninstall the android one and see what happens ).The out of the box picture quality set up is good but after a little tickle managed to get it to my liking, a comprehensive list of settings are there so you can get the picture, motion and up scaling exactly how you want it. The sound quality is ok for this type of tv but I use a pioneer 5.1 system through hdmi arc and the audio processing is superb.4K streaming is very impressive and immersive, standard def tv broadcast is not that good but on a screen this big it’s really noticeable. Fortunately I use a virgin media box for tv and all the hd channels are very crisp and clear.I actually chose this tv to use with my xbox series X and it has all the major features for that, only issue is you can’t use vrr with Dolby vision at the same time but I believe only LG support all features all the time at 120hz.Overall I’m delighted with the tv especially as I got it for half its launch price making it a real bargain.shame this one only comes with a 1 year warranty so hope it’s reliability is up to Sony's reputation ( I also have a 50” 2017 Sony and it’s just fine ).

Very happy with purchase. Grand quality as expected from Sony. We got the 65’. Brilliant picture quality, smart features are all the latest in tech. The sound feature measures against all the walls in the room and is fantastic. Remote is simple and sleek.

I won’t go into all the detailed tech spec reasons for my 5 star review, but I previously bought a Samsung QLED before the Sony. I returned the Samsung due to motion stutter & judder issues with certain content. The menu interface was terrible too. (with ads)This Sony TV is far more superior compared to the Samsung.: Interface is seamless: HDR is bright and vivid: HDMI 2.1 x 2 is a bonus (for PS5): Motion & Clarity is the best in its class: Remote control has all the latest featuresSony are making some outstanding TV’s recently, (I own a 49” and 43”)…If you don’t buy this TV, look at another Sony.

We thought long and hard before buying this tv.On of the reasons for this one was that we wanted to be able to hook it up to our hifi rather than a soundbar and the headphones port allowed us to do this.The picture quality is fantastic. We had to tweak the settings but got what we wanted. The 4K picture is crystal clear the controls easy to learn and the menus not to complicated to navigate with a little practice.One thing to note however, is that Sony tv's don't have BBC iplayer which is something we use a lot.We've gotten around it by connecting an Amazon Firestick, which does have it. It's disappointing as it negates the built in Prime Tv, but it works.

Handsome to look at, easy to set up. No complaints.

Bought this on the black Friday sale, reasonable price for what you will get. Most TVs of this spec will cost thousands. Sony is an amazing brand and produce quality products. I can ensure you this will be perfect for everyone, great picture, sound and operating system, will also look great in your TV stand.

what a tv, beast at 75”. beautiful picture, supports xbox series x at 4k @120hz HDMI 2.1, nicely set out UI. terrible delivery experience, paid extra for a 11-3pm delivery slot, never turn’t up, then after contacting amazon i was assured coming this eve, then about 5pm its delayed & ended up coming the following day. but at £850 down from 1.3k i cant moan. thanks 😎

Purchased as upgrade from my 6 year old bravia 32inch TV. Perfect companion for my PlayStation 5 (I got lucky). Picture quality is awesome and sound is spot on. Remote makes my 4k firestick remote obsolete which is a bigger bonus, less remotes to loose down the sofa. Ordered, delivered and set up in under 24hr.
