Needs Editing
There was a lot of repetitive material in these books that was not edited out when they were combined.

Poorly Written Book
This review is about the two books Quantum Physics for Beginners by Edwin Hines and Quantum Physics and the Power of the Mind by Samantha Goleman and Nancy Patterson. However, I focus primarily on Edwin Hines’s book. I write relatively few reviews, but I thought it important to write a review about these two books. I read for content, and I read carefully. My expectation is that the author will write with clarity that will facilitate my understanding of the material. Specifically, I expect the author to a) construct sentences that promote understanding, b) construct paragraphs that are logically related to each other, and c) clearly define terms that one would not expect readers to have general knowledge of, especially for books written for beginners. Neither of these books meets these expectations. I approached this subject with great enthusiasm and was taken aback at the difficulty I encountered in reading Edwin Hines's book, Quantum Physics for Beginners. At first, I thought the difficulty I was experiencing was because I lacked understanding of an arcane subject, but as I read more, I realized the book was poorly written. Still enthusiastic about the subject, I purchased the second book, Quantum Physics and the Power of the Mind and encountered the same issues. Finally, I revisited Amazon's reviews, focusing specifically on the one-star reviews, and discovered that others were encountering exactly the same issues I had. I investigated ratings of other books for beginners and found similar comments. Finally, I decided to check out the streaming service Wondrium (formerly Great Courses) and was more than pleased with the course Understanding the Quantum World taught by Purdue professor Erica Carlson. Wondrium also offers another quantum physics course, Quantum Mechanics, that I have yet to sample. It appears to be significantly more advanced than Quantum World. As an example of the difficulties I encountered, I provide a sample of the poor writing from the Hines’s book. It is not my intention to attack either of these books or the authors. It is my hope that anyone who reads this review will be spared the difficulties I encountered when I repeatedly attempted to read these two poorly written books. Here is an example from Quantum Physics for Beginners."For Example, if you take a rock and drop it, the rock will fall to the ground. In Quantum Physics, you could explain why the rock falls by looking at each atom of [sic] table one at a time and seeing where any atom nears an atom of the rock … " The above statement confused me because the author speaks of dropping a rock onto a table as though he had previously mentioned the existence of a table. No such reference was made. The table simply appears out of thin air. I thought, perhaps, the author was referencing the quantum table of electrons, but he wasn’t. The paragraph was just poorly written. After my experience with Quantum Physics for Beginners, I tried reading Quantum Physics and the Power of the Mind, but quickly became discouraged when I encountered several instances in which the authors used terms that they either poorly defined or did not define at all. There were also other issues with the writing similar to Hines’s book. I do not recommend either of these books. I do recommend Wondrium. Just to be clear, I am in no way associated with Wondrium.

Just straight up terrible
Save your money, whoever made this did a terrible job at both writing it and editing it. Mistakes all over (very obvious ones at that), missing figures and diagrams galore - feels like someone pirated the material in Chinese, wrote up a poorly translated/plagiarized copy (almost every paragraph containing incomplete sentences if not just completely skipping over many important details and concepts), and repackaged together with some other stripped-down amateur-level work. The section on attraction is just repurposed toxic positivity culture, and drinks directly from the capitalism koolaide (with such wonderful advice as "see extra work as new growth opportunities" - yes, lets glamorize hustle culture as "growth" instead of what it really is: worker exploitation). Very clearly this book is a money grabbing scam, and isn't worth the trees they tore down to print it on. Save your time and skip this entirely.

I wish I would have read the reviews instead of just looking at the stars
This book has many typos which is fine, I can read through them. However this book as has a lot of “illustrated in figure A” “demonstrated in the figure below” … and there’s literally no pictures or diagrams and I think that would be alot more beneficial to understanding the material…

Very poorly written
Have you ever read assembly instructions that were poorly translated? That's what it's like reading this book.I feel like the author used overly complicated grammar to hide that they were not knowledgeable in physics. Some of this is actually just wrong.A waste of money and time.

I dislike this type of book
This book is making things up, based on nothing, and pretending it has something to do with science. Why not try a little harder, read more neutral source materials.

Impersonal book not relying on concrete examples and jumping to conclusions.
Authors of this book series are nowhere to be found. 45 minutes into the book without any personal experience, mainly focusing on concepts and jumping to broad conclusions. Do not recommend it to serious learners.

Difficult read
I plowed through the first 40 pages thinking it'll make more sense later, but it never did. It doesn't take long to get into heavy theoretical physics and I'm getting overwhelmed. Then I realize that there are introductions to tables or illustrations that don't exist and words that appear randomly in odd places. Then there are sentences that don't make sense at all. It feels like someone took physics book written in German and put it through Google Translate...circa 2008. Had to return it. I can't find a bio (or any personal information) on either authors so can't tell what their background is.
