Chrome Doubletrack Handlebar Bag

It took a while to find a handlebar bag that would work with my Cannondale bicycle. Chrome makes a well designed and well made product from sturdy materials that I expect will last a lifetime. I needed a bag large enough to hold an outer layer when the morning warmed enough to shed my jacket. Most bags are tiny and intended for the smallest of items. This bag has proven to be exactly what I needed. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking at this product, then you’re probably already familiar with the high quality bags that Chrome has become known for. This one is no exception. The materials are high quality, so durable that I expect this little bag to outlive me. I have a couple other Chrome bags, and they’ve never disappointed. My first one is a small camera bag meant to hold a small camera and some lenses.This “fanny pack” style bag that they refer to as a “handlebar bag” is small and lightweight, but I’ve found it to be more spacious than your average fanny pack. The bottom is structured by a very stiff and curved interior that is intended (I assumed) to protect the contents of the bag while it’s strapped to the handlebars of a bike. But I don’t have a bike! Nor do I plan to get one. And yet, I still love this bag as a small and portable sling to use when I’m out and about on walks with the dog or at a concert or theme park.The only drawback I’ve noticed so far is the lack of interior pockets or zippers. The top is also not totally sealed shut. It’s just a fold-over style top with a magnetic clasp, that (full disclosure) took me way too long to figure out how to open when I first got this.In short, this is the high-end quality I expect from Chrome in a small package that I’m not using as intended, but it still works for me!

This bike handlebar bag is no exception. It's easy to attach it to your bike or your body thanks to the velcro handlebar straps and stashable crossbody strap, and it looks equally sleek in either configuration. The bag closure is easy to open with one hand once you know how to do it, but tricky if you don't, which makes it a great bag to travel with and thwart would-be pickpockets. Once the magnetic buckle is undone, the top unrolls to reveal a decently large, waterproof interior compartment with two mesh organizer pockets large enough for a phone or wallet. The bag also has two exterior pockets on either side for easy access to things like keys, cards, phones or cash. I'd absolutely buy this again if I managed to wear it out - but their warranty guarantees I won't have to!

Solid construction you would expect from Chrome and it's lighter than it looks. With two simple velcro straps and a single buckle strap at the bottom, it's easy to attach and remove. Tucked away in a pocket at the back of the bag is a strap that allows the bag to be be worn as a sling or fanny pack. With the lower strap under the top tube, the top of the bag sits slightly below and in front of the handlebar where it doesn't interfere with my hands when riding on the top section on my drop bar. The two straps do take up a good of the limited real estate in the center section of my bar; I had to move bell as close as possible to the tape and there isn't enough bar space for me to strap on my headlight. The top folds easily when opening and closing and the magnet on the latch is a cinch to secure while riding. The exterior is rugged ballistic nylon with a rubberized reinforced base and the interior lining is waterproof. There are two mesh pockets on the interior for organizing gear and two on either that make a convenient place to stash your shades, some snacks or even your phone. It's a convenient size for carrying most everything you need for a long day of riding, easily accommodating a jacket, lock, tools, and snacks. It's easy to open and close so you can access your gear while on the bike and it's waterproof.

Holds just what I need for day excursions. Well made and easy in/out with magnetic clasp. Good packing and ship time.

容量５Lとあるが680mlのペットボトル２本でほぼいっぱいになる大きさ。なのはまだギリギリ許せたとしても、買ったばかりの時点でひもに白い斑のようなシミが・・多分カビかな？一応洗ってみるけど完全には落ちないだろうなぁ

Bombshell quality from chrome industries as always. Bike attaches well to either flat bars on my foldie or even dropbars on the sexy Canyon Grail. Bag has an ingenious one handed operation for closing and opening the magnetic buckle. Side pockets have good elastic bands. I've placed my phone and it hasnt dropped on flat roads (even at 45km/h speeds!!) Wouldn't try it on bumpy roads though. Clever design on the hidden sling straps and it is wuite convenient to use as a daily sling. Theres even organisation pockets for wallet n keys. Internal size is quite generous. I've managed to fit a fuji xt3 + xf23mm f1.4 primes with no problems. No regrets!

自転車好きでクロームのメッセンジャー等を使っている友人のお誕生日プレゼントに買いました。デザインもカッコよくて、サイズ感も良かったです。ボディバッグとして使えるし。防水性もあるようなのですが、どの程度耐えられるのかは解りません。

耐水性:申し分ないです。使いやすさ:ハンドルバーバッグとしてはもちろん、自転車以外での外出時にも普通にボディバッグとして使えるデザインで、気に入っています。軽さ:他のハンドルバーバッグは使用したことがないのでなんとも言えないですが、ハンドルバーバッグにならないボディバッグと比較すると、ハンドルバーバッグとして型崩れしないようになっているためか、少し重く感じます。その他:フレームサイズ49だと、U字ロックその他重いものを入れてハンドルに装着すると、その重みで下がり前輪とのクリアランスが取れず、気づけば擦ってました。（写真のようにバッグ下部に傷のような跡がついてしまいました。。）
