Pages are good, colourful but vulnerable to tear off.
It is just a amazing book.Colourful pages with proper diagram.Everything is perfect. Just a demerit is that, as the pages are too much in numbers. Due to that binding may go weak due to which pages can tear off from binding point.

Colour coding : Separate colour for denoting the importance of a topic and it’s keywords in prelims and mains Eg: rainforest produce about 20 percent of earth’s oxygen is important for prelims and given in orange colour.2. Themes and dimensions: There are few themes and core dimensions of ecology asked in Civil service exam are given importance Eg: recently pollution and climate change are being asked frequently3. Pictorial explanation: See images4. PYQs of 10 years (2011 - 20) solved and explained5. Below some topics MCQs are also givenCons:1. Book feels bulky when compared to Shankar and other books but it won’t be a issue after few days of readingThere may be few people who think you can print it from PMF document but it will be more costly

Simply Amazing!
This book is a very holistic one, specially for exams like the civil services. I was never really a fan of Shankar IAS's book on Envt. , majority because of a lot of useless information and the B&W printing, which made it really difficult to visualise pictures of important flora & fauna, which form a critical part of CSE syllabus. This book is colorful, of impeccable print quality, quite cost effective given the amount of hard work put in and the printing costa, and even though a bit lengthy, comes in handy in solving the random MCQs that UPSC has started throwing the last few years. The first reading of the book may take some time, so did Shankar's. But once through, its a cakewalk for revision.Truly a wholesome book and the team is definitely a poor man's friend (PMF).I will strongly suggest this one and lets promote the hardwork of this amazing team!

One Stop Solution
Are you someone who is confused about which book to opt for between Shankar IAS, PMF IAS, and R Rajagopalan?Having seen the content coverage in all three books, PMF IAS beats the other two hands down because of following reasons-(a) Comprehensive (includes Current Affairs with static till July 2021)(b) With lots of pictures and diagrams, the book is easy to read and easier to absorb. This book reads like a school textbook and yet it doesn't compromise on the content.(c) Good print quality and bindingI am someone who has seen PMF IAS's work evolve from online notes to a definitive book. This book deserves all the appreciation that you can see in the review section.

It is lakshmikant of environment.
I have read Shankar IAS book. While reading that I always felt there is too much data less relevant to upsc.Always felt need to make notes. But this book is already in note making format. Those who think it has too much data than you can see questions that upsc asking are getter harder to answer we need more detailed study especially for environment. This book cover almost everything under the Sun. And it is needed because shankar was not fulfilling the need of UPSC.
