Very good tasting olive oil
Very good tasting olive oil. I've used in several dressings for salads so far. Great with real balsamic vinegar. The olive oil was tasty yet took on other flavors very nicely. Tastes very good as a finishing oil on poached fish, pasta, and risotto. I haven't really used in a heated application like saute or frying as this is a cold pressed oil. However; I have used the oil on pitas with seasoning and stuck them in the oven. Tasted great. I've also used the olive oil on pizzas in place of tomato sauce and was very pleased with the results. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good tasting olive oil or finishing oil that doesn't break the wallet. I would buy again.

The best I have ever had
Will not ever buy anthing else. As soon as it arrived I tasted it. Perfect flavor. I also tried it on skin. Totally absorbed into my skin in 5 min. Not so with other brands. Was waiting for this delivery to make basil pesto. Wonderful. I can't say enough good things about it.

Mixed results
Placed it is the fridge overnight. 100% olive oil should turn cloudy and thicken a bit. This did not change as expected. But in the freezer it did cloud and solidify so. The taste is ok but not the best I’ve had. Not an expert on the taste but what is in the table in an Italian restaurant was lighter or smoother.

Its good, but not great and definitely overpriced for the quanity you recieve.
My wife and I received this olive oil today and couldn't wait to try it. The verdict is it's good but we were expecting much more from all of the rave reviews. There is a Greek olive oil we have consistently purchased for years, but it's a hassle to travel to get it as we have only been able to find it in this small Greek restaurant some distance from our home. But obviously we are going to have to travel to get it and this is certainly not its replacement. The most insignificant quality of this oil is its mild, yet clean, fruity and does have a mild peppery taste to the rear of our throats but again weaker than we would like. Is it worth the money? Our opinion is this olive oil is to expensive for the quality and in particular incredibly overpriced for the quantity received. We honestly wanted to love this oil......

Amazing taste; heals mild eczema too!
I primarily use this great product as "medication" for my daughter's mild eczema (dry and itchy skin). She takes a spoonful, and she says it is great, and topically on her arms. It has done wonders: her skin has healed really well, almost back to normal. We also use it in our salad and cooking. This olive oil is better than anything you get in the store.

My daughter and I love to cook our vegetables in this oil
My daughter and I love to cook our vegetables in this oil. Light clean taste with a hint of pepper at the end. So glad we found a quality olive oil instead of the questionable olive oil sold in the grocery stores. The delivery is also extremely quick! Very pleased.

Back to Italy I go.
Definitely felt the 'burn' in the back of the throat upon tasting. Wasn't really impressed with this EVOO, especially for the price. It didn't have a strong enough body, wasn't at all complex IMO & tastes a little 'green'. I cook with it to use it up. Can't use it on salads which was my primary reason for purchasing. Well, I gave Greece a shot. Back to Italy I go.
