Bed Claw #35 Hook Plate Conversion Adapter Kit for Using a Bolt-On Frame with a Hook-On Headboard- Pack of 4

Attaching the foot board to the bed frame after learning a few lessons attaching the headboard first. It would be helpful to have two people, but I did it by myself. After attaching the foot board, I went back and redid the head board (correctly) the second time. What I learned was you should place the hook plate into the head board first, then line up the bed frame and mark with sharpie. Next assemble the frame and hook plate, tighten screws and then attach to head board. I think it would also be useful to have star lock washers between the screw head and the hook plate, this would create friction so tightening the nuts would be easier. Now that I know what I'm doing, it will be easier if I ever need to do this again. I would recommend the product.

The hook conversion adapters are of good quality and work fine. I wish that the instructions contained better detail. Yeah, I mean, you screw them between the bed frame plate and hook them into headboard/footboard, but there was a series of trial and errors which became a fantastic time waster that could have been avoided with, again, better instructions. Or even examples. And the provided lock-type screws for the bolts are beyond annoying especially when attempting to unscrew them as all beds are not made equal. See: trial and errors.Again, good, sturdy quality that, when finally in place, remain in place.

These Bed hooks was used on a old bed, which has a headboard and a footboard and was very easy to install and added support for the antique bed. The claw design fitted to the footboard perfectly.

I am not so pleased with these full bed extenders to queen size. The lady on the customer service line was especially nice and helpful . When installed the bed wobbles and is very unsteady. We eventually had to bolt the bed to the wall to give it stability.

Had been looking for something to modify our frame to adapt with our bed frame to adapt to our head/foot board for years. Was about to buy a custom side board for $400 when I found these conversion kits. These hook plates along with the Bed Claw Universal Footboard Attachment Kit were the $60 solution using my existing frame. Install took 30min, adjustable left right up down fit our bed well and seems to be very flexible. Solid build quality and durability. Took 2d for shipment and 30min for install to solve a problem we had been facing for years.

I love the way it holds my king size mattress and bed springs up. So much better than the original support. My old one would fall apart and I would have to remove the mattresses and then fix and then reassemble. This set up is a hassle free sleep easy fixer.

This adapter claw kit made it possible for us to use our new, sturdy bed frame with our old headboard attached. This kit works exactly as it is advertised. Wish I had known about it years ago, and we would have changed to a sturdier frame sooner!

I considered leaving a 4 star review, but I would be docking a star for something that wasn't the manufacturers fault. I purchased these with a new frame, box spring and mattress, all to go on my mother's old headboard and foot board. Once attached to the frame, which they did wonderfully, the width was too wide for the center support of the frame and wouldn't hold the box spring. I will have to purchase/create slats long enough to fit in between the new rails.These brackets attached perfectly to the metal frame and held strong. I have no complaints about them!
