Brabham Ralt Honda The Ron Tauranac Story: Biography

This book is a terrific story as well as a detailed account of the life and work of renowned race car designer & builder, Ron Tauranac. I have read hundreds of books about motor racing as well as working in the industry for 25 years, but I think that this is the best book of its genre that I have ever read!

Fully detailed history very well written with the technicalities explained in easy yoy understand language. The only thing missing is an index, which would have been a useful addition.

Amazing designer. Well told

This book was very interesting reading to me. It is mostly written from personal and business viewpoint of racing car engineering and production. In the 1980s I was myself a little bit involved in maintaining a couple of Ralt cars, as well as some Judd/Brabham engines. I was happy to see that the information and opinions in this book regarding these very much reflect my memories too.

Fascinating story about Ron Tauranac's career designing and building race cars and his interactions with Jack Brabham and other figures in the racing world. It did help that I'm an old formula racing fan and frustrated driver/mechanic.
