These went the distance with no drop in performance.
I am using these two 2.5M cables end to end to go about 3.2M. Even with the extra cable (which is dangling in a wall it passed through), there are no issues and both sections of lights are responding with equal intensity and responsiveness. I did tape the joints to help eliminate having to look for a connection issue in the future.Watch the arrow alignment when you make your connections.

Does not work with Lifx
Decent product, but will not work with Lifx Z strip unlike some of the reviewers state.

I used these to extend the length of some light strips. They worked well and seemed to have a tighter fit then the regular plugs.
