Works great outdoors
Works great outdoors, used it for pool gate and was able to pass town inspection.

Not very loud
Bought this product because a prowler was entering my backyard gate while avoiding my cameras. Hoping to deter anyone from trespassing. Would have preferred it was louder. My bedroom is right by the gate and the alarm is barely audible at its loudest setting. I wish it had a private code for setting. Anyone familiar with the unit will know to hit the #2 button to shut the alarm off. I don't like that.
