Motion Pro 08-0269 Wheel Bearing Remover

Tried on a gen 1 zx14 and a gen 1 busa front and rear before I took to powder coat. No. Just no. Heat it with a propane torch and beat it out with a punch. There is no magic in this. The collet did not expand when you drive the tool into it and I do not even see how it could.

Unlike tons of motion pro products I own, it came with no case.I ended up losing both drivers during a move :(I contacted motion pro to see if I can buy just the drivers we shall see.The product it self worked as intended. I needed to remove some bearings to powder-coat some motorcycle wheels. I do not recall if it damaged the bearings or not and if I needed new bearings or not :O.basically -1 star for lack of case, I see some cheaper $40 versions with plastic carry cases.

Pounded spike into collet various times, but the bearing never budged.

My main issue was for a modern day sport bike wheel the set did not come with a big enough part to remove a bearing. I was at least abelt o use the punch rod to work the bearing out with a mallet.
