The item looks nice and is built solid but is over priced

I received this shelf two days ago and followed the assembly and mounting instructions and even applied command strips for extra hold and the shelf still fell. And it broke into pieces. It fell on a hamper filled with clothes and then on a carpeted floor and completely fell apart. The material is faulty, cheap, and even came chipped out of the box. It was barely holding 10lbs worth of items so it doesn't hold as much weight as advertised either. This shelf is garbage and my items could've been damaged. I'd rate this less than 1 star if possible. Do not buy.

Great shelf. Easy assembly, well designed, and sturdy. This shelf is a really fun addition to the wall and lets me showcase my favorite knick nacks as well as a couple books. I definately recommend it and the price is more than fair.

I can’t use what was in the box. I waited to open until I painted my wall and that was a mistake. I am now beyond being able to return.Update: I was sent a replacement and it is perfect now! We love it!! Thank you so much!!

It went together well and was well finished. The hanging mechanism, however, was screw holes drilled in the sides of the vertical uprights -- and a small diagram of where the screws should be located in relation to each other -- it was necessary to calculate the proper distances; the diagram could not be simply held up to the wall and holes punched with an awl. Any mistake greater than ⅛" in placement of the holes would have meant the shelves would not hang perfectly straight or level. Rather than risking multiple holes in the wall we gave it away without trying.
