After purchasing a silicone case and new pop socket (which did not stick) I saw a video with a very elaborate, time consuming & potentially dangerous process using a knife to dig into the case to put a pop socket into a silicone case. 🙄🥺This small device works great, stays on but can be easily removed when I want to mount my phone on a tripod to film something, which isn’t even always necessary because it can be pushed along the sides to reposition and get it out of the way.There is a nice variety of images when you want to switch the look because the disc twists off..but you do this with a precise, distinct movement. Unless you are doing that, this part is completely stable!

The media could not be loaded.  So I asked and was informed that this likely would not fit on my phone which is a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra that's in an otterbox defender case but I decided to give it a shot anyway and figured I would just return if it didn't fit. I'm happy to report it does actually fit!!! Maybe not the way it's supposed to but hey it works. So for those of you with the same phone and case wondering if this will work for you the answer is YES it will work!! It is definitely a tight fit and is stretched as far as it can be but with the way the defender case is designed it has a line going down the side and the popsocket band has these thin tab things on each side that sits perfectly in that crack holding it in place quite firmly. I tried to show this in the pics I'm uploading with this review. I would definitely be careful putting it on but it's not too bad and after you do it a couple times it's easy.It is a little difficult to slide up and down (mostly because it grips the case material firmly) but it can be done. Just don't try to slide it by grabbing the sides. I use my thumbs on the back near the sides and gently slide it down. I have found that sliding it on an angle is the easiest way to remove it if needed so if you don't want it to come off make sure you slide it straight up or down.I love that I can now use the popsocket to stand my phone horizontally or vertically which is something I could never do with the ones that stick to the case. It doesn't add much bulk to my phone either as you can see in the pics.I'm so happy I decided to order it and try it even though I was told it would not work for my phone with such a bulky case!! If you are not sure if it will work with your device and case I say try it anyway because the way it's packaged you can try it without even taking it out of the packaging and if it doesn't work out you can always return it. I would say that if your phone is any larger than the S22 ultra it will not work for you.One thing to note that may bother you but I don't really mind is that because of the band being on the side of the phone the phone doesn't sit completely level when placed horizontally on a surface and it will rock. I uploaded a video as well showing what I'm talking about. If this would bother you then I don't recommend it OR you can use a popsocket stand like I do and that eliminates the problem. I also included a pic of it on my stand that I use to eliminate that problem. This issue probably doesn't happen when it fits the phone better though. It stands vertically very well though just make sure you have the popsocket down low enough.I hope this review will with all of the photos and the video helps some of you out there that have the same phone setup to decide if this is right for you. I'm not sure how durable it is but if something happens I'll come back and update my review. Thanks for reading.

I've had this for about a week and I love it!I have a samsung galaxy note 20 ultra and it fits on and off a case.I love that I don't have to permanently stick it to anything and it does slide fairly decently for my size of phone.All in all very great product and would definitely recommend.

I REALLY wanted to like this. SO much. I despise permanent phone grips and this seemed like a great answer but it just isn't up to the normal pop-socket quality. The grippy part is stretchy, but not in a spring-powered way like most of those universal phone holders. Feels like maybe a standard office rubber-band. I don't have a lot of confidence that it'll last. The plastic feels cheap and easily breakable. It doesn't fit my phone particularly well, but also doesn't fit on my husband's or son's cases, so I can't use it for other phones either.The pop socket part is a normal pop-socket (not a swappable pop-grip). The actual pop-socket part is the same excellent quality that you'd expect from this brand, but I just don't trust the holder to keep it on my phone.

So I actually did receive the grip that is shown in the pictures. There were a couple red flags that had me believing I was going to get the all white marble grip instead & needless to say I was a little more than pissed. But everything is the way it should be & it does fit my iPhone XS with my life proof case on so yea 5 stars. They should still change the info on the ad/post or whatever you wanna call it so it’s a little clearer what they’re selling.

I really like it and it works well for both magnet or pop usage. But the pop is a matte finish, not shiny and sparkly as I thought it would be

My favorite Pop Socket (amethyst) had come unglued from my phone after a couple of years, and I read that newer ones were not holding as well. So I decided to try this. It works great over my iPhone XS with Speck case. I was going to switch out the swirly socket for my amethyst, but it looks nice as is, so I kept it for now (so I don't know how easily they will switch out).It has slipped off on occasion (either up or down, not popping off), so I wouldn't walk around just carrying it by the pop portion. Probably it slips because my case is slick. And if I want to set it so it's propped up on a desk, I have to cover the volume tab with it, which doesn't adjust the volume but isn't ideal.Overall, I am pleased with this relatively low cost solution to the glue issue & will probably buy another if this one wears out & starts to fall off more often.

Love this pop socket as you can use it on any type of phone and reuse it on a different case. It’s a little expensive considering the size, but, inflation. So, can’t help that I guess. Also, the packaging it came in was super large for the size of the product meaning there is more waste. Definitely could have been sent in a smaller package.

Liebe es, da man flexibel ist. Man kann es schnell und einfach rauf oder runter geben. Jederzeit ein Hüllen tausch möglich und es nicht bereuen dass man keinen Popsocket mehr hat. Zumindest war es bei mir immer ein Kriterium dass ich meine Hülle selten tauschte.Einfach Praktisch

I love my pop sockets and it is awesome because I can move it lower for texting and in the middle for movie watching. I am scared that over time the springs on the sides will give out. But so far so good!!!!!!

Das Handy lässt sich damit nicht hin oder aufstellen( meins zumindest nicht) das Händling wird aber gerade bei der Nutzung der Kamera suuuuper einfach.Wenn ich mein Handy in eine Halterung klemmen möchte, kann ich den Popsocket bequem abnehmen.Hab in gleich in schwarz und in weis bestellt.

I love popsockets, but I can't always stick them to my case. They can be a bit of a pain if it's a silicone case...they won't stick, and if the base is stuck in place, the entire case must be removed to wirelessly charge. This grip is ideal. It can be removed very easily and swapped between devices within seconds. The only issue I've had sadly is due to my phone. The volume rocker on the pixel 7 pro is quite low, therefore the grip has to be positioned at the bottom third of the screen. This is a little low for comfort and when using it as a stand in landscape mode, the phone sits at an angle. On the whole though, it's very useful and I like it a lot.
