Much happier with this than with my HOF2 and Oceans 11. This is the one.
I write this review because I am so pleased. I recommend people put this pedal on the TOP of their list for consideration. I’m blown away. I have the HOF2 and Oceans 11, so those are my points of reference. I am reviewing this pedal without factoring in any forgiveness based on cost. For this review, imagine they all cost the same. Parameter control is far more useful to me on this pedal. With front access to low pass, high pass, and pre-delay control, I can easily create a space that precisely matches my intention. The range of adjustment for each parameter, including decay time, is beautifully calibrated so that dialing in doesn’t require micro turning the knob to find the only good spot. Tweak ability aside, every reverb pedal has a certain character to the reverb algorithms. For example, if you compare “hall” in each pedal, no matter how you adjust the pedal it maintains its own kind of sound. The Ocean’s 11 has a slightly harder sound to reflections than the HOF, which sounds slightly warmer and glossy in a way. The starting point with the Flamma, to my ears, sounds not cold, not warm, but just right. Like the Goldilocks story. Also, when I adjust parameters on the other two I feel like I am adding or subtracting an “effect”. With the Flamma I feel like I am adjusting the space that I am playing in. Which is what reverb should be all about, in my mind. All three are great pedals, but the Flamma does exactly what I have been looking for. In terms of available modes, the 11 gives you the widest range of sound possibilities. In some ways it is a multi-effects pedal, given the adjustable chorus, tremolo, delay, flange, etc.etc. But remember, it is still designed as a reverb pedal, and the secondary effects can never be fully divorced from the reverb. The HOF has toneprint, but who cares? If I can create and save 7 easily accessible sound spaces, and I like every space better than what I am getting on the HOF, what difference does it make? I will miss the delay, tremolo, and chorus on the 11, but for a long time I have wanted those effects on separate pedals anyway, so I can control them more, and divorce them from the reverb if I want. I am really impressed with the fundamental algorithms that were designed for this pedal, the easy access to necessary adjustments, and the ability to create 7 presets. Someone really thought through the design of this pedal, as if they knew exactly what I wanted. Kudos, Flamma people. One thing: I haven’t tried or used this in stereo, so I can not comment on that.

Seven Amplifiers - Tone for Days
Before I go into how awesome this pedal sounds, let's just quickly talk features. You have 7 different preamps, from US classic to tweed to full-on metal. Add the fact that you can set each one independently as well as offer both CLEAN and DIRTY channels. Plus they throw in one very nice cab simulator and multiple footswitch option for switch channels and on/off setting, and you have one powerhouse of a drive pedal!! I'm more of a plexi fan and this pedal did not disappoint - nice midrange and drive. The high-gain preamps had lots of tone and even the cleaner tweed preamps were not brittle but very glassy and brilliant. You could litterally spend hours tweeking and jamming. Whatever they chose for the cab sim works well on all preamps, but I was even able to turn it off and use my own in my DAW. Great tone, great features, and tone for days! Well done FLAMMA.

Best “cheap” reverb
It keeps up with pedals double it’s price. Very surprised by the great sound. Some very nice ambient sounds. I can’t think of a better reverb in the price range. You seriously will need to pay double to get a subjectively better reverb. It has such great features you don’t find on many reverbs. The high and low cut are great. It’s easy to adjust tails. Great design. The company is new but the product is worth the price for most styles. It didn’t have a very realistic spring reverb but the rest sound great. I am biased as I also have the EHX oceans 11, pretty much the standard for spring emulation in the mid range pedals, but aside from that, this keeps up great and provides different tones that are equally as good.

Almost...
For $100 this is not a bad option. The sounds are usable but not spectacular, just ok... Tried this into an effects return, direct into a PA using the on board cab sim , and also straight into a DI using an external IR. Got the best result in the last application with 5150 model. The deal breaker for me is the fact that the Level/Volume knob is tied to the preset/amp model. I totally understand why as the internal architecture is probably the same as the other pedals, but this can be a huge problem when changing presets...
