It’s more of a devotional than a bible
I actually expected a bible and should have taken note of the size before buying it. It’s great but it’s not a bible and you’ll require a bible to use it

Another Wonderful Study Bible!
As one of my newfound favorite authors on anything bible study related, Eileen Nyberg has really done it again… they've made another beautifully written bible study journal! With an excellent pairing of scripture references to weekly topics, this study journal not only helps you understand what a passage means, but to help you relate the deeper meaning towards your own life and daily encounters with others. There are a ton of great, thought provoking journal prompts as well.No matter how well versed you are in scripture, there is something for everyone in this NIV study guide. As with the other study journals in this series, Eileen has each important lesson laid out in a non-intimidating, easy to understand sequence with follow up questions perfect for self reflection, or even discussion within a group! It makes a great side book to help guide through the lessons meant to be learned.Overall, I would say that one of my favorite reflection topics covered in this NIV study journal is Week 34's Loving the unlovable. Being able to reflect upon how you treat others, especially in today's crazy world, can really change your daily perspective on life. Empathy is a great thing to practice to truly follow Jesus' teachings.

Beautifully Written Study Bible
This Study Bible is specifically for the New International Version (NIV) which is exactly what I've been looking for. It has been guiding me through learning more about the scriptures and my own relationship with God by giving a topic for every week. In total, there are 52 for the entire year. For each week, there is a scripture for every day, a weekly reflection written by the author about how these scriptures apply to the lesson of the week, and journaling exercises to engage your mind, heart, and will. I really like how the questions are specific and help me to feel more deeply connected to my religion through reflection of the scripture in my own life.Eileen Nyberg has such a clear and comforting writing style. I have immensely enjoyed reading her words in Women's Study Bible the past few weeks. This writing gives me hope and strength. When I am reading it and doing the work, I truly feel closer to God. I am so very grateful for this book and the insights it's given me about the words of the Lord.

Lovely study bible
This study bible is actually pretty good -- I also believe that God has led me to read this in the right moment in my life when I needed it most. The weekly reflections had a comforting and reassuring tone, nothing strict or accusing. And the journal prompts were actually engaging, thought-provoking, and relevant. They are questions that you should actually try to answer since they are applicable in your life and your walk with God, and not just questions you need to answer for the sake of.My only issues with this study bible is that it could've used another round of editing. There was capitalization inconsistency when it came to He/His referring to God, some words were stuck together when they should've been separate, and there are a handful of punctuation errors. The message was still quite clear, but errors like those does make it distracting.Another thing was that I almost forgot this was a WOMEN'S study bible, since I think it can be easily applicable to men, too.But still a lovely devotional for long-time believers, and those new to the faith.

Good food for thought
What I liked about this devotional was that it had longer scripture readings than most. Each day, there is 1-2 chapters to read in the Bible. This makes it really great for those who want just a little bit of prompting to go along with their scripture reading. If you enjoy devotionals that have more Bible text than the author’s text, this is a good book to start with. While I didn’t necessarily agree with everything the author said in her writings, I did like the questions she posed for journaling. They are great at making you think and compare your habits with what you’re reading. I felt like I could journal to the same questions each day of the week and still find new things to write down. I also enjoyed the included Bible chapters and enjoyed how they were related.

Interesting and engaging
I was looking for a journal that will not pressure me to write consistently everyday because as a working adult, that’s just almost unrealistic. While this book encourages you to read a scripture every day, the writing is done on a weekly basis. Which is perfect for me because I think it will only work for me on weekends. When interacting with this journal, however, you may want to do it when you have plenty of free on your hand. This is because the questions being asked are very engaging and will make you think deeper or further back in the past, so you may want to take your time. All in all, this makes me so excited and I’m hoping to finish it.

Amazing devotional study guide
This isn’t a “read the Bible in a year” guide. It’s a guide to devote a little bit to a lot of time to The Bible each week. I like that I didn’t have that “too much homework “ feeling. You can devote as much or a little time to each week as you want.It calls upon you to engage your mind and heart as well as your will. It’s very open to as much journaling as you want on each. I have found that I just have less to say on some things and I haven’t felt inadequate. It’s an amazing way to look at the Bible.

manque de place pour écrire
son seul défaut pour ma part c'est qu'il manque de place pour écrire ses pensées ou notes.mais reste un outil à alterner avec un autre pour continuer de maintenir sa relation avec Dieu et garder la motivation

Great companion for everyday reflection!
I love to reflect before I start my day and I grab this book to read about God's message for us. This makes me ponder because there are questions that are really thought-provoking. It talks about integrity, patience, and love. This book creates a purpose in my life. I am loved by God. I need the affirmation and the weekly reflection makes me think of my weekly plan

Format differs from the online preview
A journal based study guide. This journal part isn't shown in the online preview so you may wish to consider this. Some thoughtful questions and I like the idea of giving you a selection of poetry, prophecy, old and new testaments when exploring a specific subject.
