Hampton Signature – Continental – 3.5" Paring Knife with Blade Guard

This is a great multi-purpose knife that my wife loves to use when preparing lunch for our toddler (lots of cutting). The old one of the same model snapped after a good many years of usage, so I got this one to replace it. It wasn't as sharp as the old one out of the box (I had sharpened that one myself many times on a whetstone), but it had the right feel. After a bit of sharpening, it's cutting clean through tomatoes like the old one!

Has a very good look & balance.

We have this set with the knife block and one day we noticed that this knife was missing. I was so happy to be able to find the 1 piece of the set that was missing and replace it without having to purchase a whole new set.Love it!

I broke the paring knife in my set and was excited to be able to replace it. Good quality product.

It isn't as sharp as the knives I already own

I'm Sorry to Say that HAMPTON FORGE Knives are the WORST I've have ever owned... and NEVER AGAIN! My 6-inch H-F Slicing Knife (for fruits, veggies, etc.) has NO LESS than 8 pieces "missing" ON THE BLADE, 3 in one place and 1 five others. Which means I've either EATEN METAL in my food or their, who knows... VERY TRUE!

Was not the knife I needed to complete my set but is good quality.
