Large-lump pumice. Looks good for landscaping; should also work for metalsmithing.
So many reviews of other products complained of the pumice being much smaller than advertised, so I was pleased to find one that claimed to be larger lumps. This is probably just the right size for landscaping. I plan to use it in an annealing pan (small-scale metalsmithing). The photo is a roughly 6x6. Largest lumps are around 1-inch. I plan, as advised on the label, to wash before using (haven't opened the bag yet). Delivery was really fast (less than 24 hrs).

Large grain size
This is nice stuff but beware that the grain size is larger than it looks. Only suitable for top dressing or for use as drainage in the bottom of a pot. Not appropriate for mixing your own potting mix.

It's pumice
It was all pumice and no filler. Will be ordering more soon

Great for decorative use
I was pleasantly surprised when I received this product. I thought it was going to be the size of perlite granules. I ended up using it as decorative rocks in a cactus garden which I started in a container. Nice quality pumice stones varying in size from dime to quarter. I'd say its an okay price, as decorative rocks can be pricey. One bag covered the pictured container measuring 47" across. I rinsed them in a bucket before placing them in the garden.

Bigger bag of pumice than I expected
There was a discrepancy in my head between the weight listed and the size of pumice. Turns out, pumice is really light. Who would have thought that a rock with a bunch of air bubbles in it wouldn’t be dense?Great value for money. I didn’t really realize how much would be arriving!

Pyroclastic emissions 🌋
The pumice is about 3/8"-1!2". It is 3 gallons which translates to over 12 lbs. It is about the same size as a bag of concrete(volume). It's in a thick bag so there isn't dust everywhere. I buy pumice every few weeks for my lophs, along with dolomite and about 8 other soil amendments and this is the best deal I've come across. Repeat customer for sure!

White and Brown?
It was odd that when I rinsed the crushed pumice as directed, there were regular brown rocks mixed in with the light weight white pumice. Didn’t notice that before from this vendor nor in the other ground pumice I had ordered. I have plenty of gravel and rocks I could use. But majority was pumice, so ok.
