Great little pump
After many years of service, my old Jabsco remotely mounted reciprocating pump failed. A like replacement pump was either not available and/or cost prohibitive. This little pump fits nicely down in the bottom of my bilge and has a huge pumping capacity. It has now been in place for 3 months and has kept my bilges dry so far without any faults. We shall see how it holds up for the long haul, but for the purchase price I can keep 3 or 4 spares onboard for half the cost of a replacement Jabsco pump.

Love this little pump!
*7-31-23- Update: I received a brand new replacement pump in the mail today. I can’t really ask for better support than that. I’ll update my rating and this review as needed.*7-18-23- Update. The bilge pump no longer “tests” for water. It works if I cycle the power, but never comes on again. In addition, the joker valve has swollen and no longer works as a check valve. I removed it. It lasted for less than a month. Very disappointed. I contacted SeaFlo, but haven’t heard back after 2 days.I bought this bilge pump as my “backup” pump. I wanted less “fluid” in the bilge. Our shower and air conditioner condensation empty into the bilge. Controlling the smells is a challenge. This pump has a check valve and is automatic. Both no no’s for the primary bilge pump. This little pump almost dried the bilge completely the first time I turned it on. It cycles off and on just fine. Very happy so far. It’s going to get a workout, so I’ll update this review as necessary. I also added a 2000 GPH SeaFlo bilge pump as the primary. Looking forward to trying that one out as well…

Piece of crap or I got a bad one
Bought this pump to use as an automatic back up or redundant pump. The pump works on the manual mode and it cycles on the auto mode. However, it can be completely submerged and it will not come on and pump water. This apparently a poorly designed pump that does not work as indicated. I’m going to have to try another brand. Don’t buy this crap.

I'm thinking I like this..
using for shower sump in a boat. wire it up for automatic and switched, or just switched. If only on automatic it may not empty the sump because it's float activated. not like those Rule pumps that check for water every 3 minutes.

This came in a bag, not a box.
This is a repurposed pump. It is new though. Did not come in any box, just a plastic bag, taped. All parts were here, but here’s the catch. There is a connector on the power wires but no mating connector to use to hook up. Usually the pumps come with wires with no connector. This was meant to be sold in bulk is my guess. The connector clip was cracked in half because it was delivered in a plastic pouch. I’m cutting it off because there’s no mating connector included.
