Tongue (Note) arrangement doesn't make sense to me... --- Wish I hadn't purchased this one!
The Tongue Drums that put the same notes next to each other (for me) are far easier to learn. This drum doesn't do that. For example, notes C and C (lo) are numbers 7 and 7-lo (the low notes have a dot under the number). This drum puts the C notes (and all notes) on the opposite side of the drum from each other. This arrangement makes it very difficult to learn. Not only that, the 7-lo tongue is a "Dead-Note" on my drum (it doesn't resonate at all). All the other tongues sound great! The tuning in D really does sound good! BUT, If I try and play the song "The Sound of Silence" which uses the 7-lo tongue quite a bit. The dead-tongue on my drum completely kills (changes) the song! If this write-up confuses you -- just look at the illustration that I drew-up which includes the Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Si Do -- and the musical Note for each number. I think it'll help make sense of the write-up.

It's in key of D not C, but overall nice to start playing and learning
I'm not a music expert, so I'm a bit confused. The bottom of the drum shows a D yet the advertisement title says it's in the key of C. I downloaded a tuner app to my phone and hit the 1 and the tuner shows D. Two of my friends also ordered this drum. One of them also gets D on their tuner, but the other friend gets C on her tuner when she hits the 1. I'm not a tongue drum expert. For my first one, it sounds nice and I'm enjoying it, but I don't have a really expensive one to compare it to. The bag is really nice and the mallets are nice and sturdy. The drum is pretty, decorative and well built and the rubber feet hold it nice and steady on a table top. It's great for the money and your first drum so you can start playing and learn more about them. I'm not sure that this would be good if you were playing on a professional level and performing. Overall, I'm happy with it and having a lot of fun playing beautiful and relaxing melodies.

OK product with packaging disasters
We liked its look and most tunes were accurate. While there was no label or whatsoever on the bag or the product, and the packaging was terrible. The drum was in a poorly sewed black bag, and the cardboard box was in such a terrible quality that it can barely hold the drum bag, and the package arrived damaged. I won't recommend it as a gift to someone else, unless the gift receipant won't mind a music instrument with no label/brand name in a falling apart box.

Good For The Price
It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The case is very nice and the drum itself (green) is a pretty turquoise color. Sounds good, but you have to strike the High 2 and High 3 just right to get a decent sound from them. To me, it was worth the money. Really have no complaints.

THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BUY!
If I had it to do over again I would have returned this drum. There are several notes that you must hit in just the right areas to even get a tone from the drum, still that is not a pleasant sound. I lost track of time and I failed to notice my time was up or it WOULD HAVE BEEN RETURNED!

My Wife Loves this drum
This is the second drum that I have given to her as a gift and she prefers this drum over the first one, which was a smaller diameter.I sounds wonderful and the fit and finish are VERY WELL DONEFor the hours she spends playing it and enjoying it, I would say 5 stars.

Some dead keys
A few of the notes were dead not producing a tone just like hitting the body of the drum.
