This is an excellent book, well written, with clear, step by step directions for eleven projects. It comes with a cd that includes the lettering fonts and designs to complete each item. There’s a good discussion of stabilizers, and the book is very helpful regarding specialty fabrics like toweling. Several projects are finished in the hoop. There’s also a list of suppliers for projects shown in the book. I highly recommend this for beginning machine embroiderers.

I have purchased many In the Hoop projects from PicklePie designs. They always turn out great. I knew I could not go wrong in purchasing this book. There are some great designs included with the book as well as very helpful step by step instructions complete with full color pictures. Lisa also gives direction as to hooping and proper stabilizing for excellent results. A section on applique and a very nice monogram are included as well. You will not regret this purchase.

As a teacher, I find Lisa's design steps with full color, step-by-step instructions to be a marvelous tool for beginner's. They will gain confidence quickly and enjoy the pretty designs.

Yes, this is a great book for beginners to expert. I have been embroidering for years but am always looking for tips and help to improve. This is a good book to add to my library.
