Great shorts
used these for a competition, I am 205lb and the mediums are a little snug but they did not move or get bunched at all. I will definitely be ordering these again for any no-gi action. great material, great quality, great fit.

New favorite nogi shorts
Don't listen to the negative review about the rubber lining inside the waistband. This is the best feature! These are lightweight, relatively short, super comfortable, and wont slip at all. I am a brown belt and have been training 7 years and train 80% of the time in nogi, these are the best shorts Ive come across so far. And they are less expensive than any of my other shorts. Buy these.

These are the shorts
I train jiujitsu 5-7 times a week, so I need the right apparel. Artibus shorts do the trick. The fit is perfect-- neither too loose nor tight-- so nobody catches toes in the fabric or gets too intimate a view of... you know. The waistband is lined with a rubber that keeps the shorts where I want them, and since any decent human being wears either athletic underwear or spats beneath their shorts, there's no concern for the rubber causing skin irritation. The black color is simple but classic, paired well with any rashguard, and the logo is attractive.I've tried several different short brands over the years, but I've now adopted Artibus as my go-to.

AMAZING BUT THIGH HIGH
so I've tried like 15 other brands fuji, Hayabusa ect but these IMO are the best no velcro thin waistband so it doesn't bother you when rolling hard, it's pretty much impossible to have these pulled down, the material is thin but very very durable, it will not rip that the point lightweight and durable if they do rip ill update this, but the biggest issue for someone that's 5'7, and 220 is they are far too short they only offer X-L its thigh height for me i mean it looks like i am wearing boxers haha i had to get spats, and ultimately return them suck they do not offer something a bit longer

Very lightweight
I feel these are good shorts the silicone waistband to keep in place works but they felt too lightweight and i was afraid they would stand up to heavy rolls.

Perfect!
I've been using these for about three classes per week over the last two years. Starting to show somewhere in terror and the inner lining that's made of rubber is almost gone. I actually like them so much I bought a second pair.

Great grappling shorts
I’ve been taking gi and nogi Brazilian jiu jitsu for about 8 months. I’ve gone through about a half dozen shorts that have worn out so I bought these a few months back. Simply put, they are the best I’ve owned yet. No Velcro, reinforced drawstring and are perfect length for grappling. Im going to buy more.

Great fit, I'm 5'10", 205ish. I roll around and never worry about it even showing my butt crack.
Fits well for me, very light and comfortable, I wear this with some leggings because I dont' want to bring home ringworm. The rubber hip piece really helps in keep the shorts not moving around. It doesn't bother me one bit. I highly recommend them.I'm a 51 yr old BJJ Brown belt, training BJJ for 12 years.

Accurate description
Waist fits on the tighter side so go a bit bigger. There is no under fabric so your privates are exposed in certain positions. Also, there is no stitching, it's very thin stretchy fabric so there is no structure for crotch protection like you would have on shorts that have a little resistance. The design is really nice though
