Definitely good at keeping flies out of the house in the summer. The material has a bit of stretch so it can be pulled taught to seal well. The Velcro allows you to close the window when you wish and reattach the screen when you open it again.I will say, the fabric can tear easily so just be cautious. Even with small holes, flies will have to find them first so it’s better than the gaping one left with no screen at all.

I order these fly screens and was really impressed on how easy there were to install. Unfortunately the hook & loop tape would not stay in place although they were extreamly sticky when they fell down. I had several communications with George the seller who gave me some good advice to try and rectify my problem. George's customer service was excellent - Thank you George.

Yes, it can look messy as it's hard to cut the net neatly to size. And yes, the one sided hook and loop tape doesn't have fantastic adhesion and can need pushing back into place hard a few times before it decides to stay. (Only the hook side is provided because the net sticks well to it, so there's no need for the loop side of the hook and loop tape). And yes, once installed, the flimsy net gets ugly pulled threads when lifted away from the hook tape to open and close the window.But for the price, it's a brilliant solution to the problem of summer insects -- it works! Obviously for under a fiver you won't get a perfect, beautiful looking or long-lasting window screen. You will get something that in most situations will do the job for one season then need replacing next year. Overall I found this product effective and excellent value for money.

The Velcro edge has a very weak stick, I had to superglue mine. the holes in the net are big enough for fruit flies and other small bugs, the netting has no Velcro edge, it sticks directly to the Velcro which means you’re pulling the net directly whenever you need to open it up to adjust your window. Mine has now warped out of shape. Will be getting adhesive solvents and getting a new screen, this should only be bought as a temporary fix or out of desperation with no other option.

Its lighter and weaker than I thought given that the description says improved quality however it does the job. I got a wider velcro strip from a store for it but honestly its fine . Works well for bugs and stuff

We have purchased a number of these over the years to put across window openings to keep insects out whilst letting fresh air in and found it great for doing so. The only issue is you need to lift up one corner if you wish to close the window and over time it can damage the end that is attached to the window frame.

Didn't really work, the tape just peel off after a few days making it useless. I've given it 2 stars because technically it works if you can get it to stay in place.

Excellent item, great that you can cut it to the size of the windowed you wish to cover. Plenty of mesh so able to do plenty of windows. I leave leave the loop tape in place on the windows so I don't have to put more up next year.
