Duty Belt Back Support (Smooth Leather, Regular - For waist size 34" or more)

This is a life changer, has helped with my lower back fatigue. I recommend this to everyone who asks me what is on the back of my belt.

Provides support, but not as much as a regular back brace worn under uniform.Eats up a ton of belt space.If you use velcro lined duty belt and inner belt don’t get. I use a nylon kobra style classic duty belt made by Safe Life Defense. The hook & loop of the Velcro on this brace are incompatible. Loop side faces the loop side of the inner belt & the hook side faces the hook side of the outer belt.

I’ve been plenty of police officers use this and never understood why until now. I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and the relief and support for my lower back has been phenomenal. I’ve been having issues with lower back pain for a while and tried all different things to alleviate it. I have to admit, the price was making me reconsider other options, but after using it, the price is well worth it. I finally felt some relief for my lower back after a long time of feeling pain there. It took a while the first time installing it to get it in the right place, but now I can set it up blindfolded.

I must say, I was skeptical. I have severe swayback, scoliosis in my first 3 vertebrae of my low back, and a twist above the scoliosis. Amazingly, I never had back problems UNTIL I began wearing a gun belt. I tried suspenders, but they didn't really help much. I didn't think this would do all that much either, but I am amazed at how much it has helped me! I have MUCH less pain by the end of the week, and no pain for the first 3 days or so. Very thankful!

Brace helps distribute duty belt weight, but I lose about 6inches of space and my duty gear is smashed together. On random occasions I get a sharp pain from my sciatic nerve but overall it's improved 85%.

I work in law enforcement and I have bad back problems. I saw a coworker with this back brace and had to get it. It was easy to install. I work tomorrow so I’ll edit my post to how it handles but just from putting on my duty belt it seems pretty comfy and does take a lot of pressure off the lower back.

I'm going to be brutally honest with anyone interested in this product. Especially anyone in Law Enforcement in particular. When I say, I could barely walk before having this product because of the pressure the duty belt put on my back. To the point where I was nervous thinking, how can I be in this field for 20+ more years if I have excessive back pain already so early in my career?? I rolled the dice ordered this product because I was insanely desperate. This product completely took away the pain and creating support instantly. My back pain went away and it gave enough support to allow my back to heal and become stronger. I don't go a day without it. You may look at the price and say, damn this is a little pricy. But when you think of future medical bills you will occur if you don't address your back issues early this is nothing. Your back will have to adjust to it after a couple of weeks and may feel weird at first. But eventually for me at least my body adjusted and it helped tremendously. If I could give this 100 stars I really would.

Perfect brace

First off I would recommend ordering small, I have a 34 waist but after reading reviews I ordered small and am glad that I did. The brace itself will take up some of the real estate on your belt which can be an issue. I had to put my handcuffs in the small of my back in the center of the brace to get everything back on. I used to carry 2 sets but no longer needed the second with my current assignment which was fortunate as I no longer had room for two sets that I wore at 4 and 8 o'clock. It does seem to be fulfilling its function though as I have had no back issues in the past few weeks. Seems decently made and will see how it holds up. I also have no idea how anyone would get the belt keepers to attach to your trouser belt as is stated in the instructions?? I just used them to attach the brace to my duty belt.

The belt it’s self seems to be helping prevent back pain, although I haven’t had it in long it is helping.The quality of the basket weave seems less then expected, the basket weave finish tore off in one part as I was only feeding my duty belt through the loops of the back brace belt. Not impressed with that but overall seems to be working.

It worked to help my back, but both the belt keepers that came with it broke in the first shift wearing it. Also the inner is soft velcro, which is the same as my inner belt so it does not stick. Wish I knew this before ordering.
