This is perfect! It came folded flat in the box, just slide it out and pop it open, line it up and drop tree in. Nice and wide to give stability.Yes, I did have concerns when reading about the flimsy box it would be shipped in. True, the box is flimsy but the metal stand is nice and thick, box looks a mess from getting trampled when shipped.Be on the lookout for the lone screw that is loose in the box. My tree fits so nicely in the long tube I didn't need to tighten down the screw.I am going to enjoy for years to come!

I have to admit I was worried that it wasn't strong enough. I set up a plastic tree outdoors in a center of the gazebo. The cheap stand that came with the tree was simply not able to hold up the tree in the outdoors. And so we set up rocks to prop the tree up but it was tilting and not secure.And so this was the cheapest alternative. I did worry that it would not be able to properly hold up the tree. However, when it arrived, I could see right away that the metal was strong and sturdy. And it was made well -- no assembly required.I got a friend to help me set it on the new base and it's standing tall and straight. Great buy!

The plastic stand that came with our 7.5 foot artificial tree broke after years of use. Not wanting to toss out our beautiful Christmas tree, we tried to find a sturdier replacement made specifically for artificial trees. Having no success, we came across this one which is made for live trees - but decided to give it a try anyway. This worked out perfectly for our artificial tree - even if it is not being sold for that purpose. It is sturdy, holds the tree well, and folds up nicely for easy storage. Obviously I cannot guarantee that it will work for your artificial tree, but it has worked well for ours.

We received a much smaller stand for our tree two years ago. The tree is a very slim one, but about 7' high, and a leg of the stand broke. We decided to try a new stand instead of a new tree. It seemed like all of the stands fit a 1.25" pole, and when we got the stand, it was much bigger and much sturdier than the one we had received before. However, the hole was too big (which is strange, because I think our tree is from the same brand). You CAN buy stands that have inserts if you have a smaller pole in your tree, but they are more than twice the price. Instead, I took the easy way and just wrapped duct tape around the bottom of the tree until it fit snugly into the stand's hole. The duct tape is hidden, and the tree is sturdy, so I'm happy!

We have a 6' tree and it fit perfectly. We have two 55 lb. dogs so our old stand had to be reenforced with wood blocks to make it extra sturdy. I decided to try this stand on its own without beefing it up, and it worked perfectly! It never moved even if my dogs were standing next to it barking excitedly at something out the window. We have carpeting - not sure how it would do on flooring. The stand was also very easy to use.

POOR product description! This is internet! We cant pick it up and examine it, we need a DETAILED description of the product! I asked how many screws came with it and got 4 responses, 2 said 3 and 2 said 1, because questions and feedback cover too many similar yet different items. LUCKILY we got the one with 1 screw we wanted, and it works. The 3 screw stands are poorly designed and strip out too easy like our previous one did. The 1 screw is an improved design, yet eliminates 2 screws. Shipping was fast, but horrible. The item was shipped in its cheap, thin retail packaging that did not survive well in transit. LUCKILY our UPS driver found the screw laying on the floor of his truck and said "I think this goes to your tree stand". A wire tie or a simple piece of tape to secure it to the stand is too much to ask in such poor packaging?We got what we wanted for a reasonable price, and it worked. Our tree is up. But the overall experience leaves a LOT to be desired. I certainly dont expect "luck" to play such a major roll in the purchase, the product, or the shipping. I can only give 3 stars because the whole ordeal was a headache, but the end result was acceptable, LUCKILY! Now lets see how long this one lasts We love our National Tree but the stands have plenty of room for improvement!

My mothers fake tree stand broke a month before Christmas. The one she had before was a stand that was made form hard plastic and it only lasts so long. She has had her tree for ten + years. so I needed to find a stand that would last her tree and if she buys a new one. In my opinion this stand is great, well built, well put together and easy to use. When you first get it you need to take it out of the box and unscrew two bolts/thumb screws. After that it twists outward and you use those same thumb screws to lock it into place. This stand holds most trees and holds most poles up to 1 inch & 1/4. This stand is very sturdy and will not fall over once the pole and legs are locked into place. I would recommend this to everyone who has fake Christmas trees up to 8 feet.

Una excelente compra, me salvo este año, la base de plástico de mi árbol se rompió el año pasado y pensé que no lo podría poner esta navidad.Lo único que fallo es que le quedó muy grande al palo de mi árbol ya que con el sujetador que trae no se pudo fijar al 100, queda un poco de lado, pero en definitiva sigue siendo muy útil.Cuando lo iba a comprar se agotó y cuando ya hubo existencia estaba a un precio más alto, lo bueno q en unos días volvió a estar en promo y ya lo pedí, llego en muy buen tiempo.

It fits perfectly for my 5ft Christmas tree. I got 24 inches to have more support since my tree is larger from the sides and I also have a dog. The only thing that can improve it is if it had more than one screw.

Tenemos un árbol muy bueno que no fue nada barato pero su base era de plástico y no duró ni una navidad, la verdad que la base nos salvó la navidad porque comprar un árbol nuevo de 2 metros sale el equivalente a 7 bases, gran compra y esperamos tener árbol para varias navidades.

Stand is very lightweight so it tips too easily. I’m sure it’s very good for a symmetrical artificial tree. I bought it to hold a very light 4-ft tree branch (for my birds) but, because the branch isn’t symmetrical, the stand tips over.
