Black Diamond Double Ultra Light Packable Down Throw (Stuff Sack Included) (Amethyst (Purple))

Bought it for a Christmas gift from my daughter, who loves the one I have, which of course is a different brand. This one as stated it way too light and flimsy, not much down at all.

It is like a large down coat - soft and warm. It is thin - but I knew that when I got it. It washes well. When stuffed, it's about the size of a small hiking sleeping bag. I traveled with it, and also use it as a throw on the sofa (because dog hair doesn't stick to it). I'm pleased.

Loved this little blanket. It is surprisingly warm for its weight and you barely know it's on you!

got it for mom who is frail and needs lighter blanket. it keeps slipping off the bed even with a slightest movement. current product would be nice as an additional blanket for sleeping bag. for household usage, the cover should have different material so that it stays on bed.

A lot thinner than expected.

I got one in purple and its awesome for the price. But for those thinking they are going to use this for backpacking or camping let me tell you this. The thing is wide and short.. Who ever designed this should be forced to use it without socks and be a tall person. Because its such a poor cut or designed that its wide and SHORT. I am 5ft 8" and this thing barely covers my feet laying down if I pull the top up to my armpits. Then you have all this extra wide width to the sides that are total waste of the blanket. Then with the material being slick as a used car salesmen the bottom of the blanket is sliding above your feet. Leaving your feet cold. Who designed the dimensions of this blanket? a elf? If they made this a rectangle instead of a square it would be great giving enough blanket for it stay over your cold feet. Better yet if they put a pocket of material at the bottom so you could hook your feet into to hold the bottom of the blanket down over your feet it would be awesome! But no someone had to make a Square shape? what? the you know what. I would give it five stars if it wasn't for the square shape. So unless you are the size of a elf dont bother.
