This is a quality confection. Very good chocolate and very good malt center. My only complaint is a subjective personal one - I would prefer a mixture of more malt and less chocolate for better balance. To me, the chocolate overwhelms the malt. This is also not a cheap purchase, but you do get a decent size box. My box contained 128 individual pieces, so you can do the math per piece and decide if it’s worth it for you. This is not your waxy grocery store candy. This is the real deal.

These are pretty good malt balls, much better than Whoppers, which are kind of disgusting. These Wockenfuss, however, are not as good as others that I have tried. I like more chocolate coating and slightly less malt. I know you get 2lb with this particular package, but I still think $32 is rather expensive to charge for only above-average malt balls. I bought the milk chocolate kind, but for some reason, these candies didn't have a creamy, rich taste like I was hoping for--it was somewhat bitter instead, like dark chocolate. Also, the chocolate coating was much thinner than desired. To my surprise, it came in a nice gift box--so extra points for presentation.

We all desire the taste of Brachs malted milk balls, they were THE Best!!! The chocolate on these is fair, a bit too salty. The center is nothing like the old brachs, the flavor is lacking and texture wrong. A couple weeks ago I bought, through Amazon, some from The Sweet Spot; they were much better?,I’ve changed my mind on these. Just got another order from sweet spot and in comparison they’re pretty much the same. I reverse my decision and believe those from Wokenfuss are a bit better!!

Brothers and sisters, I am deadly serious about candy confections and have tried many, many, many; you might even say I'm an expert. These are my top pick for milk-chocolate malt balls. Halfway-decent chocolate quality. Good ratio of chocolate to malt ball with neither being too dominant. A mite pricey but worth it to me. Plus, Wockenfuss always packages well and even in midsummer, the product arrives in perfect condition. Crunch with confidence!

Milk chocolate with a very slight hint of malt is what they are. The chocolate is delicious, but I was looking for malt with a hint of chocolate. The shipping was excellent, as the box was shipped in an insulated "bag" with ice packs. Definitely shows they care about their customers and products

FIRST, THESE ARE PURE HEAVEN AND PERFECT! THAT'S IF YOU LIKE MALT BALLS AND OH MAMA, I'VE LOVED MALT BALLS SINCE I WAS A KID AT THE CANDY STORE. THEY ARE PERFECTLY PACKED WHICH INCLUDES THAT EACH BALL IS BRIGHT, SMOOTH AND SHINEY! NOT A BROKEN ONE IN THE BUNCH. YES, THEY ARE PRICEY BUT THIS IS WHAT ONE MUST PAY FOR PERFECTION, I GUESS. I HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED 3 BOXES FROM THEM AND THEY ALL COME THE SAME WAY. MY FRIENDS LOVE THEM TOO. I WANT TO GO TO THEIR WEBSITE AND SEE WHAT OTHER DELIGHTS THEY MIGHT HAVE, BUT I AM VERY, VERY AFRAID TO DO SO.
