They really cling to whatever curtain or material you clip them to. The have ‘teeth-like’We’ve use them only for canvas drop cloth material. Our indoor curtains are made out of drop cloth material and these clips and our outdoor porch has these clips and drop cloth curtains to keep water, pollen, etc out.I fold over the material and clip it with these. So they hold on to double the thickness of a canvas curtain.The circle part does NOT open up unless you pry it open with tools. You have to slide them on the rod before installing the rod to the wall. Then you just clip them on your material. It’s easy to take curtains down and wash that way too.We live in the country with full open pastures so the wind is very strong here.These clips hold on to the curtains even in the storms.Some have come Unclipped at the bottoms of our outdoor curtains (I hook them at the bottom so they don’t blow up in a storm). They have never ripped our canvas material even then.They easily slide on our rods inside and out, to open and close the curtains.I have had two or three clips that were a defect and would not open at all to clip on anything. But I’ve bought a lot so that’s very few for the amount I have gotten that work!

Works well

I bought these for a makeshift outdoor curtain that I made out of canvas. I wasn't sure if they would keep my canvas material up, especially in the wind. This temporary curtain has been up for 4 plus months now and there are signs that these clips are going to allow it to fall.

These clips added a different look to our living room curtains without having to buy new ones.

Just as described and expected

A house-wide renovation included new curtains and curtain hardware for 20 windows. I wanted black rings so had to find an affordable solution. I'm so glad I found these TEJATAN 1.5" black ring with clips! They are as nice as their counterparts at big box stores but they are a fraction of the cost. They are put together well. The rings are smooth and the clip mechanism works well. I've been able to achieve different looks: clipping the top of the curtain panel so that they show in some rooms and clipping the tabs on the backside of the panel so that they are hidden. These are as functional as they are pretty. The rings slide easily on the rods. The clips are very secure and hold my very heavy curtain panels: they are 110" long and some are velvet. I have now ordered these 4 times, a total of 420 rings over a 4 month period. (I know, it seems crazy even to me!) The important message here is that I have NEVER found a faulty ring. Not one! The quality assurance team is going an amazing job!

I sew, but sometimes I just don't want to. These clever rings are perfect for hanging up fabric without needing pockets for a rod. I probably should have gotten smaller rings, but these work very well. It is also neat you don't have to cut fabric to use these. A sheet can remain a sheet and useful for something else later, ordinary curtains can be 'shortened' and hung easily, and the rings slide easily on a rod, stick, pvc, or most anything you want to use. Great idea!!!

Perfect for adding just a little something to my curtains

Had this type of curtain ring before, maybe a different brand. Worked as expected and seem strong enough to hold the heavy drop cloth I am using as a curtain. I am satisfied and would buy again
