So I own a variety of brushes from high end and low end brands. These are softer than real techniques and Morphe! And it blended my foundation beautifully (I do use a beauty sponge at the end to make sure I have no brush strokes). They do not soak up product which is great but I do use the same brush to apply primer as I do for foundation. I was able to use the goat hair brushes to do my eyeshadow just fine. YES these brushes smell upon arrival but honestly it’s the bag, I set it outside in the sun and the smell is 90% gone. As for the brushes I rinsed them with a little vinegar and dish soap to get rid of any chemicals that they may have had contact with. Then I washed them with baby shampoo and conditioned them with my hair conditioner. You do not have to do this but I find it helps the goat hair brushes and doesn’t mess up the synthetic ones. Then I set them outside to dry with the sun as this naturally disinfects them and effectively dries them quickly (no more smell). The goat hair brushes are decent. I know a lot of people have strong opinions on them but your paying practically nothing for each brush. I’ve paid closer to $30 for one goat hair blending brush so let’s be honest for the price it’s a good deal. My MAC 217 and Morphe M514 are softer but these were usable once I conditioned them (the only thing to note is that they are sturdier and denser than my MAC and Morphe, this could also be the fact that I’ve had them for YEARS though). For those that said it scratched their eyelids are either not used to goat hair or don’t know how to treat it. I’m sorry if you had that experience. If you want high end brushes cough up the $100+ dollars to get the quality. But if you just want a starter kit or you already have brushes and just want to add a few more like me then I 100% recommend buying them. I’d even gift them! (But maybe let that bag and the brushes air out in the sun first lol)

I a very pleased with this brush set. First off they arrived on time and was very well packaged.The brushes are exactly as described and all of them accounted for. Upon opening the brushes they were individually raped in clear plastic. They all fit in the bag, which is very well made! The brushes had a faint smell but once washed it was gone. There was no shedding of the brush hairs. They look really nice and well made. Brushes are very soft with the exception of the white hair eyeshadow brushes that were very harsh on my eyes when I first used them but after washing and conditioning them a few times they are now soft enough to use but still not the softest.But overall all the brushes perform really well! I am very happy with them!

So first, these brushes have a strong smell when first opened. Be prepared for that and wash them before use! I'm going to break this review down into brush hair type.Synthetic BrushesThese are good quality. After the initial wash, I've experienced no shedding. They have held their shape well and are soft on the face. The bronzer brush could be a little more dense, but that's personal preference.Goat Hair BrushesThe 4 goat hair brushes have some issues, these are why I bought the set, and I'm a little disappointed in them. They are not very soft, they haven't shed yet, but some of the hairs are not uniform with others and I expect them to shed eventually. They can feel scratchy on the eye but they do blend well. I bought this set to experiment with goat hair brushes before I invested in the Wayne goss eye set, now that I know I like them, I will be purchasing better ones. 3/5 for these!If your looking for a synthetic brush set, this one is pretty great, the goat hair brushes will just be a bonus. If your looking for goat hair brushes, I'd reccomend going with a different brand.

Ok, so as a makeup snob I was super hesitant tp purchase these, boy was I wrong. The brushes are fab. Super soft, dont shed amd work just as good as MAC brushea do. Its a gret complete set.On to the smell.... when I first opened my package it stank to high heaven. HUGE chemical smell, but I fixed that easily. I washed the brishws and set them to dry on my counter... onto the leather bag. The instruction card says to wash the bag. Nope nope nope. Once a bag like that gets wet its nevwr the same My solve. I put it in my freezer over night. The cold temp destu any oder and I dis not have to get the bag wet. Sounds bizzar but it worked great.These brushes are worth so much more in quality than what I paid I just bought 10 more sets as gifts

I am very impressed with the quality of these makeup brushes at this price point! I used them as soon as I got them and my finished look was flawless! I was a little worried about making the switch from natural to synthetic but when I compared them to my expensive natural bristles brushes they worked just as good if not better. Another added plus was the brushes cleaned up great with no staining and they retained their shape with no loose bristles during makeup application and after the first wash or during cleaning ! I highly recommend these makeup brushes and this vendor I am VERY PLEASED!!

Bought this because a YouTuber recommended this set and I really wanted a concealer buffing brush and for a couple of bucks more I could get a set of brushes compared to just buying a small buffing brush on it own. When I washed the brushes there was no shedding and they are really soft. There was a plastic smell when I first opened the bag they came in but that went away when I washed them. This is a great set for beginners and for those experimenting with makeup because you get brushes that you can use with powder, liquid or cream products.

I absolutely love these brushes. I am going to buy another one, but I am waiting till payday. I am going to use one for display, and one for my personal use. It is an excellent buy. The small, blending brushes are the goat hair brushes....(the ones with the beige hairs). The bag and the small brushes together is worth the eighteen dollars. I was surprised to see it came with a stippling brush. I'm happy.... the brushes I own now are gold, and it does not match my décor......I found what I wanted. This is perfect, and at a good price. I don't believe in spending a lot of money on makeup brushes. It's wonderful.

Excellent collection of brushes.. value buy..

Most of the brushes in this set are good while some are a little rough. They came well packaged and before delivery date which was great. After washing them I can say they are decently made for the price you pay and I can see them lasting a while maybe not as long as some other branded brushed I've gotten but definitely long enough to feel like you got your money's worth and then some.
