Worked great for sand leveling my lawn!

If you want a quality drag, do not buy this one. It is so flimsy … there are much better quality, heavy duty cheaper. This was a waste. Unfortunately I bought two and missed my window to return the second one. Don’t waste your money.

I bought this for yard work, not gravel, roads. The bolts come loose so that the buyer can adjust for the size block weights to be used. The company should warn people to remember fulcrum and leverage applications. Put equal weights on the places that the chain attaches. A third weight can then be added to the center. If the weight is only put in the center the outside edges will bend grader in half. This grader did a great job in my yard. I did only you it to smooth out lawn.

Have only used it a few times. We had to add extra screws to it. Don't know how long it will last as it it more light weight than I expected.

If you add a 4x4 post to the top rail you will probably be fine. Unfortunately I did not. I added a cinder block for weight, started the tractor/mower and bent the top rail in the first five feet. Luckily it was thin metal so I bent it back, added a 2x4 scrap, finished the days work, and returned it. It is a shame because this would be nice to have in order to level sand annually for spring yard prep. It worked with the modification but was already mangled so I returned it. The seller was great about the return so take a chance if you need it for VERY light duty or are willing to modify.

Be prepared to add to the hardware to keep this item together. I had to add lock washers. Otherwise this contraption would have fallen apart immediately when used. After hardware upgrade it isn't too bad. It will handle top soil but not much else.

It worked well for our needs.

As expected not heavy duty drag. Plan on assembly as it was apart in the box, thankful all parts arrived. Plans are to pull behind ATV to level and drag driveway which is blacktop grindings. Crossing my fingers it holds up.
