Q: Where is this stapler made?

I do not know where it was made, but it is well made! I am a math teacher with about eighty students who use this stapler daily. It is the best I have ever purchased, and I have purchased plenty over the years. No matter what the cost is-more expensive does not equal better quality. I hope these are still available for you. I bought a stash of them for future use once I found how good they are. My students are still using the first one of that purchase which i bought about a year ago. Hope tha helps

Q: how far into a page can this staple?

A little before 3.5 inches, so maybe 3.4 inches. Measured from metal hinge edge as seen from the side to the staple plate.

Q: does it open flat so i can use it on a wall ?

it doesn't work. don't buy this one.

Q: Does it come with staples?

If I recall correctly, it does not come with staples. Staplers are usually sold in this way.
