This velvet hooded cape is very well made and has generous volume. ( I previously wrote that it's machine washable, I was incorrect.) I'm almost 5'8" and the length is so good, the cape pools about 6- 8" on the floor (depending of course on the height of boot heels). It's a good medium-weight. The wrap around has plenty of room for wearing a couple of layers to stay warm with overlapping enough to pull it close or fasten it with jewelry (I weigh about 125 lbs. and it's roomy enough for someone about 35-40 lbs. heavier). The fleur de leis lining is beautiful. My only reservation is that it doesn't have armholes and is strictly a wrap-around, thus the 4 stars for comfort. (Hard to hold a besom but easily remedied with some creative stitching.) Outside of that, it's everything I wanted & needed for length and wrap. Overall, it has great drama. Well done for a good price. I've recommended to several friends already.

This was awesome and great for my Halloween costume. Perfect length for 5’9 inches. Very long still touched the floor . Very warm because it rained and snow on Halloween.

UPDATE: I received the cloak & it's perfect. I ordered the 50" because I'm only 5'3". The hem is right at my ankle. The hood is large & deep. The fabric & stitching are wonderful. I'm so thankful that it all worked out.So I received a long wizards robe instead of the cloak. It is very well made. The fabrics are very nice. It does have some weight to it but it's not super heavy. I'm normally a 1x/2x and it fits very well. I was given a full refund without returning the robe. I re-ordered & am super pleased.

Great and lovely material! I had to return it because it was too large for my event. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay for the return shipping. My guess is that I missed that return line requirement in the description. I would have thought twice before the purchase if I had read that.

Not only did this cloak get in here in just THREE days (I didn't even expedite it!) but it is GREAT quality for only 60 bucks!! I am 5'8" and it just barely touches the ground. Perfect length. After reading a lot of the reviews, I was worried I would have to have it hemmed, but it's just right. The color is just like in the picture - very rich. The hood sits very nicely, completely covers my head, but pools a little at the shoulders for that mysterious/sexy look. The velvet isn't the highest quality velvet, but it is very nice, and from far away you won't notice. All it needs is some ironing and I'm all set to go to the Renaissance Faire!
