Q: Is the opener all stainless steel. Don't understand as one reviewer says "replaced the stainless and then it worked well."

No, it has a very thin stainless steel wrapper around the housing. It would be 3 times the price if it was all stainless steel.

Q: What the input voltage ?

You can input 110 - 120Volts into this badboy!

Q: Is the cutting lever metal or plastic?

The cutting lever is metal. But there is a small part that is attached to it that moves the cutting wheel that is made of plastic. And that brakes pretty easily. Making it inoperable.

Q: Electric can opener that opens gallon size cans

I've not had gallon sized cans to open, so I can't rate this can opener on this question. Sorry.
