The pinnacle of ryka performance, this training shoe features the new rzx technology platform. Rzx innovates to provide both flexibility and cushioning in a training shoe – she no longer has to decide between the two. Featuring ultra flex in the forefoot, the alternating flex grooves on the top and bottom of the midsole, and in the rubber outsole, rzx reduces forefoot pressure during workouts. Rzx features re-zorb® in the heel, designed to absorb impact and provide cushion all the way to the flex zone, creating the ultimate experience for her feet, and freeing her mind to focus on the workout. A supportive and breathable upper provides support and allows for flexibility in all the right areas.

Done with Ryka
This is a solid shoe design. Slightly larger in the toe box than other Ryka crosstrainers, but not huge. They get 1 star because Ryka has an ongoing problem with the soles of their shoes coming off, and they just won't fix it. No other brand does this. Ryka shoes do it reliably. I've grown weary of exchanging shoes just for the new ones to fall off, too, so now I just rip off the flappy soles and keep going. This pair started coming off in literally the first half hour of wear. Returned. I'm done with Ryka. They know about this problem and can't or won't fix it. Not wasting any more money.

These wore a lot like the Influence
I usually wear influence but tried these because I was sick of buying the same style/color of influence over and over because they never have anything new in that style. These wore a lot like the Influence, but they slip a lot more. Not sure if that is good or bad for Jazzercise since turning is important. The bottom felt a little more plastic then the Influence. They wore well and lasted about the same couple of months since I do Jazzercise about 5 times a week. They worked well for my high arches and wider toe box, and they kept my planter fasciitis away that starts sneaking up when I need new shoes. Overall a good purchase. I went back to the Influence because they slip well, but don’t feel as slippery. I may go back to them again when I get bored with the Influence choices.

great
I bought these for my wife because she loves dancing class ujam at 24 hour fitness. She had issues with her shoes making her feet hurt on her big toe and heels. No matter what nike puma or reebok she wore. I did research and found this shoe highly recommended because of comfort and easy transitions into different moves. She cant stop thanking me after every class. It is her favorite workout shoe. Im gonna say to try it if other shoes hurt.

Great Zumba shoe for high arches
This shoe, I believe, fits true to size. I ordered 9.5 due to the reviews and I should have ordered the 9. I usually am a 9 in a sneaker but was worried that they would be too tight. I have high arches and take super high impact Zumba so I needed a sneaker with strong support that would fit my foot properly. I will keep the bigger size since I have worn them and have just been wearing thicker socks and because my toe nails are painted and a bit longer than I usually have in a closed shoe, this size is working out just fine. This sneaker is great for Zumba - The bottom of the shoe does not allow me to properly pivot to avoid knee damage so I wear my dance socks over the sneaker which works great! I would recommend this sneaker for anyone with high arches needing support and I would order whatever size you normally wear.

I really want to like these shoes
I really want to like these shoes. I bought these, and they arrived early this week. I can safely say after 2 days of use that these are mediocre gym shoes.First, they DO run small. I wear between a 9, and a 9.5 in shoes. I wanted to err on the side of caution, so I bought a 9.5 in these shoes. The pros are the reinforced heal support (REALLY comfy, and nice), and the flex of the shoe itself. The cons are that they run small, are too narrow (and no, I do not have wide feet at all), are are cheaply made (the holes for the laces stretch, and easily rip). Mind you, I have ONLY had these shoes for THREE days. I am not running marathons in these bad boys. I used them for power walking, and that is it. I wish I had better nes about these shoes... but your experience may be different to mine. Pardon me while I go search for a new pair of shoes to love.

Feet feeling fine :-)
I received these shoes today and tried them on to make sure they fit and there were no issues. For the last few months I've been experiencing knee and foot pain (right foot) and figured it was normal aches and pains associated with age and exercise. I do jazzercise 3 times a week so I thought maybe it's my shoes and found these on Amazon. I read the reviews and overall they were pretty good so I took a chance and ordered myself a pair. I wore these around the house for about an hour or so, going up and down stairs and doing other chores. My feet felt great. But then I took them off...NO MORE KNEE AND FOOT PAIN! I kid you not!!! I am cautiously optimistic at this point and will give another review after my jazzercise class on Friday but holy cow I am really excited to try these out at class. After months of discomfort and pain, all it took was one hour in these shoes to make it go away.

Improved Ryka - good for Jazzercise
I have worn Ryka shoes for many years for Jazzercise. The last few pairs didn't seem to have as much cushion for high impact dance moves, so this pair was my last try. I was surprised how well they fit. They have enough depth to add an extra gel insole and there is more room in the toe box. They have better arch support and better heel cushioning than the last several styles I have worn. I wear an 8 1/2 because my feet are two different sizes due to an old injury. 8 1/2 splits the difference, so to speak.

Lasted 2 yrs of light use: nicely stable for over-pronation, but tread didn't hold up
Due to hip replacement, I researched sneakers that are supportive and stable (in a world of mesh that does not hold up to over-pronation). Chose this sneaker. On that, they have been terrific, they still- 2 years later- have not rolled over and I feel stable. The arch is just right -- I didn't even need to wear my orthotics, which was pretty significant! Being a little softer on the foot, these sneakers have only been used for casual wear -- lightly used and not that often, maybe 1-2 times a week. No exercise or running. They have held up fairly well, and after 2 years of light use they are starting to look and feel worn and are on the radar for a replacement. The one main complaint is that the tread keeps coming off so I have to keep gluing it down. Pretty silly for a quality brand sneaker IMHO.

Great looking but small made.
I have plantar fasciitis and these trainers came up as one of the best to wear with this condition. I ordered the US 11 which is a UK 9 just to be safe, im usually an 8/9. The trainers look amazing and feel comfy but they are definitely not a UK 9 as i hardly have any wiggle room. Fairly disappointing. Im hoping with thin socks they will be ok.

Good Shoe
I keep seeing Ryka's as a recommendation for Zumba classes so I tried again. Ordered one size down and that seems to have been the problem with the last pair of shoes. Usually take a 7 in regular footwear but went to 6.5 in these as I do for my other workout shoes even though they say purchase your regular shoe size. Only negative, the flap on both Ryka's does not seem to stay positioned in the centre of the foot/shoe and shifts either left or right. This I find frustrating as I have to readjust for comfort while jumping.

Didn’t work
3 stars, because it is wide and sole is flexible.... however... it is advertised to have arch support, and it felt like these is some, well is not, and after 1h working out in these my plantar fasciitis got so bad, I can’t wear anything without special orthotics... it is sad, because I didn’t need anything special for 4 years now, just good shoes with support. Not much cushioning in these either. Dissapointed.
