Good for me and tastes great!
Best tasting apricot seeds I've had. They are not as bitter as some I've had in the past which were untolerable for me to really eat. Wonder if it's as potent in the "good stuff" that helps nourish the body 🤔. Even kids like these. They have a marzipan taste to them (german almond paste). Got to remember though that they are not to be eaten as almonds. Limit the amount as stated on the bag. I hear they are amazing at getting rid of free radicals... Do your research. Good stuff! Can't say too much.

Great flavor and texture
I use these instead of almonds in the energy balls I make in my food processor. They add a nice crunch and interesting flavor to the energy snack. If they also provide some healing properties so much the better. I really do seem to have more energy when I eat one the snack balls and all my innards are working great with the good dose of fiber provided. I first crunch up the kernels in the food processor alone, then add raisins, dates, dried cherries or cranberries and chocolate chips for the decadent factor :). I zap the combination until it chops well and blends. The resulting sticky wad can be rolled into individual balls slightly smaller than a golf ball. I dust them lightly with powdered sugar and wrap them individually in shrink wrap. The recipe also called for shredded coconut, but I didn't have any so skipped that and am happy with the result without it. In the end I have a convenient and tasty energy snack with lots of healthy properties. I can pop one in my purse when I go out or grab one at home for a pick-me-up between chores. Sometimes one provides a quick breakfast with a cup of coffee. I consider these way better than a purchased energy bar or worse, candy bar with questionable ingredients.

Everything Great except it has Red #40
Everything about this item is great except, the red #40 used for color or whatever reason it was used for. I do not eat the red #40 so the item will never be used by us but it sure does look great in the package and I can tell it was fresh and looks delicious. When I bought it I never would have thought they had placed red #40 in the ingredients. But do not let this post discourage you on the item. Everything on the item was perfect and you would love it but if your like me and do not eat the red #40 then now you know.

Best Find for Vitamin B-17
Why was my review deleted when I attempted to submit it. Interesting. I love apricots and I have known about apricot seeds for many years. It is one of the healthy alternatives that the pharmacist and doctors won't tell you about because it cost a lot less than the stuff they sell you with a prescription. Vitamin B 17 is hard to find on the shelves and in the vitamin stores and this is the first positive form of B-17 that I have seen for a reasonable price. Better still the apricot seeds or apricot nuts taste just like raw almonds. Looking at the precaution of taking too many ask yourself why people where gloves and mask while dispensing chemotherapy. Even more ask the doctor or check the prescriptions of your friends or loved ones and look at how much poison or unsafe ingredients is in those medications. They warn not to take it too much. Okay. they suggest not to eat more than 5 - 9 seeds what's in them is defined...... one of my doctors says the same thing about eating too many almonds but does not give a reason. Raw apricot seeds are good for you at least the B-17 content and they taste good as well. But don't ask the doctors who get paid lots of money for prescriptions ask someone who is into natural medicine, nutrition or holistic healing you might get real answers.

Bitter and Sweet Apricot Kernels There are two main varieties of apricot ...
Bitter and Sweet Apricot KernelsThere are two main varieties of apricot kernel; the sweet apricot kernel and the bitter apricot kernel. The bitter apricot has as its name suggests, a very off putting bitter flavour and has long been claimed to be beneficial as a natural treatment in curing cancer. It is claimed they contain high levels of B17, otherwise known as amygdalin. Amygdalin breaks down to hydrogen cyanide and in high enough doses can cause acute toxicity! We roast only Sweet Apricot Kernels (and can be found in two of our mixes, Crunchy Bites & Chilli Bites) they are sweet in flavour (far more tempting) and are nutty with a slight marzipan after taste. Sweet apricot kernels, along with almonds and pips of other small fruits such as cherries, apples, and grapes, also contain small levels of amygdalin but at a much lower and more tolerable level than that found in bitter apricot kernels. The Benefits of Sweet Apricot KernelsThese super crunchy kernels are packed full of protein and fibre. They are also another great plant source for those essential omega 3 fats which, when present at a high level, help to maintain normal cholesterol levels plus they contain Thiamin, which plays a role in the normal function of the heart. They are also high in iron, which helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue, and Phosphorus and Calcium, which both contributes to the maintenance of normal bones. They also have high quantities of Zinc, which can support your vision.Sweet apricot kernels are officially HIGH in…Fibre a 50g serving of sweet apricot seeds contains approximately 6.7g.*RI is the % reference intake.Sweet apricot kernels are officially a SOURCE of…Protein which is needed to grow muscle mass & maintain normal bonesThere is a big difference between ‘bitter’ and ‘sweet’ apricot kernels. ‘Bitter’ kernels contain cyanide at a level, which may be toxic if eaten in volume. However sweet kernels are safe to eat and carry no risk of toxicity.
