I love the book.
Particularly the bit about analyst coverage and investors’ reactions.

Brilliant writing on an innovative Paytech business model.
This is a well written book - it is not a biography but tells the story of Afterpay in an interesting way! I enjoyed flipping through the pages, reading about the journey of ancestors of Afterpay founders from the horrors of WW2 to rebuilding their life and identity in Australia. This is one side of the book that walks a reader through the personal side of the lives of people important to the inception of this corporation! The book has much to offer to one interested in the fields of: entreprenuership, investment banking, technology, startups, innovation and more! I will be reading it again at some point in the future!

A journey through Australian entrepreneurship
This is one of the best business books I've read in a long time. It's about Afterpay, but not really. It's about more than that. It discusses Australian history, has deep dives into business concepts, and there are many connections between individuals. Well done to the authors, I enjoyed reading this book. I appreciate high quality research, writing and story-telling.

Brilliantly researched and fascinating read
One often looks at successful companies and thinks the founders were lucky or were in the right place at the right time. They must have got a lot right for AfterPay to be purchased by Square for $29 billion in August 2021.While the book doesn’t finish with the deal (can we get the last chapter written please?), this book takes the reader through a fascinating story of friendship, grit, entrepreneurship and determination with countless hurdles along the way. It also highlights both powerful men and influential women who played important roles in AfterPay’s success. As a non-Australian, I enjoyed learning about the history, regulations, personalities and cities that were intertwined with excellent story telling. A business book worth reading.

History of Payments and AfterPay
Not only do you get the rundown of AfterPay’s creation, the background of the key players, you also get a run through of the evolution of payment methods over time - insightful and makes you wish you bought into AfterPay.

Bad story telling
I wish I could give a better review but honestly it is pretty hard to read even though I am familiar with the context. Author did a bad job of story telling. It is more like a logging of scattered, random facts
