I got fast speeds on Wi-Fi, but power consumption was a bit of an issue
So the reason I had to buy this wireless adapter is because I moved into a place that only had Wi-Fi available and I couldn't run an ethernet cable to my PC.It worked really well, providing me with download speeds that were pretty fast on the 5 GHz spectrum. We're talking like 70 to 100 megabits per second. Unfortunately, power consumption was a little bit of an issue and when I had it on a hub with a couple of USB hard drive enclosures, it would disconnect frequently. Now I know that wasn't a problem with this adapter, but with the power consumption needs of mechanical hard drives connected via USB. Still in all it was bothersome and nothing really helped.I still loved it, but I'm really glad that I asked my landlord to let me run an ethernet cable discreetly to the router, it's a much better and stable connection.

Works as advertised, cheap and reliable
I own 3 of these switches and they are awesome. 5 ports and it automatically shuts down the ports when they aren't in use. The first two I bought probably 10 years ago when they were twice the price. I was happy to see the company still makes them 10 years later when I purchased the 3rd. Don't fix what isn't broken! Great product. Solid construction (metal casing) and compact.

Adaptateur simple et performant
Il s'agit d'un adapteur Wifi (pas Bluetooth !).Il permet d'ajouter du Wifi a un ordinateur qui n'en dispose pas de base (en particulier certains ordinateurs fixes), ou pour venir remplacer une carte Wifi défectueuse sur un ordinateur portable, sous réserve qu'une prise USB soit disponible.L'installation se fait très facilement. Il suffit de le brancher, et Windows installe automatiquement les pilotes (en tout cas sur Windows 10 et 11). Un CD contenant les pilotes est également fourni, au cas où.Il suffit ensuite de choisir votre réseau WiFi dans la liste, et d'entrer votre clé WiFi.Je ne recommande pas spécialement son utilisation sur un ordinateur portable, cependant, pour la simple raison que l'antenne est un peu imposante, et ne serait donc pas vraiment pratique ni esthétique.Il existe en effet des modèles sans antenne (ou plutôt avec une antenne si petite qu'elle "tient" dans le connecteur USB).Ces modèles ont cependant une réception un peu moins performante, surtout si votre routeur Wifi est trop éloigné.

La entrega del switch fue antes de la fecha acordada, sacas el equipo conectas cable del ruteador de tu empresa de internet, conectas tu computadora o tus tv y a disfrutar. Muy fácil de instalar y usar.
