COLORS NOT VISIBLE AND LEADS BREAK VERY EASILY
Okay so you'll need to be very careful while handling these as I managed to broke these leads even with Zebra Delguard and Platinum OLEeNU mechanical pencil. On single strokes the colors are barely visible and green is not visible at all unless seen in light at certain angle. Only the blue ones are clearly visible in writing and single strokes. However while shading or filling an entire area with color, they are visible. There is pastel like shading. In my opinion its definitely not worth the cost. If you just want one then go for all blue lead pack or better buy color pencils.Packing was very good and delivery was on time

Soft and easy to erase.
I love how smooth these leads and also very easy to erase. Kneadable eraser also picks up the colors very easily! I also painted on these with gouache and watercolors. The pigments do smudge over the surface of the paper a little but does not completely disappear. They are much better than graphite pencils that make my watercolor dull.

very nice lead overall, great for drawing
UPDATE: I got a chance to try 5 out of the 7 colors. The blue, red, lavender (violet), and green are super nice. However the orange is very weak and painful to use. I did not even finish the sketch/drawing. I have not tried pink or mint blue but have little hope for them. However I did tried a mix of blue and green for the eye shadow in the orange drawing and it gives a nice "teal" color. So you can actually blend colors together so that is great. So if you like lots of color, then get the mix tube. If you prefer just the right color, get just that color.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------To me these lead are a bit on the expensive side. However I have tried a few other cheaper ones and they ended up being more like crayon/color pencils that do not erase. These are like real graphite lead just in color.I was excited to get these today and was worry about handling them. 0.5mm is my safe zone. Not too thin like 0.3mm or a bit too thick like 0.7mm.Color wise I only tried the green since it was the first one that came out when I opened the tube (my favorite are blue and orange). It is not super dark but very smooth. If you are trying to use it for shading, it works amazing as you can layer with it. I used it with my Zebra lead pencil so you can use these lead with any decent lead pencil.Durability wise, it's great. It broke on me twice during the time drawing the picture, however that was my fault. I turned the pencil sideway trying to shade like a normal #2 pencil. Any lead in any pencil will break this way so that does not matter to these lead.Erasing is the same as normal graphite. However if you already put down a few dark layers on thick paper, it will be hard to lift/erase completely. These are like graphite and it will smear and stain. After I was done, I look at the bottom side of my hand and it's all green. So yeah, becareful.Overall, they worth what you pay to be honest. How much lead to you really use to draw/write?My picture took up about 2/3 of one lead and that include the two breaks. I draw for fun and not good at it, so I try to get cheaper supplies, these are right in the middle I would say.

Good color and erase decently
Was looking for some colored mechanical pencil lead for class so I wouldn't need to carry a manual sharpener and came across these. I haven't used them for more than a day so I'm still not entirely certain how delicate they are but I'm already rather impressed with the degree to which they are able to be erased and the color they offer with very little lead used. Plus, I'm very excited for how much this will help in doing complicated aerodynamics calculations during tests (which is like the entire reason why I was looking in the first place). Even doing 2 swatches of color each, I didn't have to click the lead out more than about once with plenty left over.In the picture above, the upper swatch was erased from the darkest color that I tried out to test how well they could be erased. The lower swatch is just a basic gradient swatch.

Works great for me!
I like these for all the variety of colors that they offer. They are decent quality. You can make light and dark mark with these leads. They are decently sturdy but you cant be careless with these. else they break.Only thing I didn't appreciate was it ran out too fast.Other than that I would buy it again just for all the fun colors in the set.

Overall, I love it!
(UPDATE: APPROX. 1 YEAR LATER)Along with plain pencils, I've been using these for taking school notes almost daily. I've found that sometimes the writing (depending on the color) will be dull and they will sometimes break. I had to knock it down to 4/5 stars, but I still enjoy them enough to buy them again when I run out. What I got:As pictured, I received a plastic baggy with 3 plastic containers, each container having 20 pieces of lead. (I counted!) After dumping out all three containers, I separated the pieces by color. I found, 9 pink, 9 red, 9 orange, 9 green, 9 mint blue, 9 blue, and 6 purple. With these numbers, I can assume that the quantity of each color was NOT randomized.Quality:All seven colors were vibrant and legible. They really did mean "mint blue." The "mintiness" was just a little bit too light, but that might be my personal preference -- it's still easy to read. The "lavender" was more purple/violet than lavender. I wrote with my usual amount of pressure for a few minutes, and didn't experience any breakage. It felt sturdy.tl;dr: It's my first time using colored pencil lead, and after using it for about 10 minutes, I already know I'll be buying this again when I run out!
