PhDNutrition Life Range Digest Capsules, Gut and Digestive Health Support with Probiotics and 42 Billion Gut-Friendly Cultures, Gluten Free, 30 Capsules

I use probiotics to aid digestion especially if I have an unsettled stomach, and usually use them for just a few weeks at a time to restore gut balance. When things are normal I try to drink kefir every day to maintain that balance.I usually buy probiotics online from a well-know reputable offshore source. They cost £10.95 for 30, or £17.95 for 60 which does make these Digest capsules look very expensive! Having said that, in all other respects the Digest brand is superior as it claims to have 42 billion cultures compared with 20 billion with my regular brand.The Digest capsules come in a recycable little aluminium pot, whereas my regular brand come in a cardboard outer box but the normal plastic/foil bubble pack, impossible to recycle (when are tablet manufacturers going to get a grip of this problem?). So the Digest ones win on that score.The Digest capsules are also smaller (despite having more cultures!) than my regular brand which is definitely a plus when it comes to swallowing them. Both are vegan.So to sum up, these are more than twice the price but they would appear to be more effective in content, and have other advantages (recyclability and size). Whether you feel the higher price is justified is your decision and may well depend on your budget.

It's a lot of money per year if you take these every day all year round. I usually take them if I've had a round of antibiotics or if my gut isn't behaving too well. And I find they really work well - and quickly. Everything was working normally again after just 5 days when I took antibiotics recently. So expensive but very good quality and seem to work much quicker than my previous probiotics.

PHD and PhD Nutrition have a wide range of products in the field of nutritional supplements.I have also tested their protein, bcaa and other supplements before.I can say that this is a brand representing a youthful line.This can be seen in the design of the product and also in the way you communicate with your customers.In terms of their prices, they represent a paying category that covers their products.The product we have just tested is ,,Digestive Health, Capsules.Provides support for digestion.Consuming the capsule is no problem. These are great to settle the stomach. They work well but as there is only a months supply they are not the best value in that regard. They don't have any nasty smell or any aftertaste and they are not too bulky to swallow. With over 40 billion cultures they are strong enough to affect the stomach quickly.

I have been taking probiotics for quite a few years now, I think they help my immune system and stop me feeling bloated and sluggish. I had heard of the PhD Nutrition brand prior to receiving this product and have used a few of their products before. Each capsule contains 42 billion multi strain gut friendly cultures, the DIGEST powder contains 5 billion Lactospore gut friendly cultures alongside prebiotic fibres, digestive enzymes and L Glutamine. The capsules are easy to swallow and did not cause any adverse effects. I take supplements Monday to Friday, after eating and not at the same time as hot beverages (wait at least half an hour). Current selling prices works out at 82pence per day, which is awful value compared to some other brands available.

I have been taking these for a few weeks now.They are easy to swallow, have no aftertaste, and can be taken 1-a-day at meal times.As for benefits, I am not noticing anything significant that I can attribute to these tablets. Not yet anyway.The issue being, I will not be continuing the course beyond the first 30 days simply because of the price. For that money (£25 at time of review) I would expect a distinct and fast impact I could rave about.That is not something I can say about this product I am afraid.

This microbiotic formula is enought for one month supply, you will have to take one tablet a day. The price at the moment is 25.00 and in my opinion this is a bit to much for one month, Gluten free and GMO free.You can add to your smoothies or protein shakes. Supports healthy gut function, has 0 calories. The capsules themselves out of typical size and easy enough to swallow, came in a small metal tin with a screw lid.

I’m a big fan of pro and pre biotics. They really do help. The capsules are quite large, but being capsules they are actually easy to swallow. Comes in a nice small pot which is great, as I really dislike like large pots only half full. I quite like the producers from PhD. My only issue is the price! Not sustainable to spend £25 a month on these when you can get of equal or better quality at a cheaper price
