I bought these for our living room redo because I spent the whole budget on the sofa and couldn't afford the ones I had in mind at the furniture store that were 5x the cost, so came home, went on amazon, found these similarly styled ones and figured I'd take a chance. I am so glad I did!These tables are great. I got 3 of them in the black color so they work well with a multitude of decor. The black isn't harsh either, it's a softer black. The finish is more of a matte finish which I like because it doesn't take focus off the sofas and the other decor by being too shiny.Size wise, these tables are a decent size especially for smaller areas. It's very simple to put together. You will need a philips screwdriver aka the x screwdriver which is not included to assemble these. It took about 15 minutes for the first table assembly because there was a little confusion on if the cam screws did in fact go in the tiny holes or if I was going to be permanently damaging the table. The instructions were a little vague and the holes look so small. But yes, they do go in the tiny holes. The next 2 tables were assembled and in place in under 5 minutes, because once you know how to put it together, it really is a breeze.The quality of the materials was a nice surprise. It appears to be made of a solid yet softer wood as opposed to particle board or some other mdf product. It really feels like a better quality piece that will last if treated with respect. Obviously if you sit on it or put your heavy bottomed boots on it, or cover it in junk it's going to tear it up over time, but if it's just to hold the remote, a table lamp, some coasters, a few knick knacks and a box of tissues(everyday things you'd find on an end table), it'll be just fine. I definitely recommend these tables and may buy another one once the sofas are delivered and in place. I'm just not sure if we will have room and if we need it to balance the space just yet, but I'd love to buy all the matching pieces. Absolutely gorgeous! You won't be disappointed!

The box arrived undamaged, all the pieces were very well packaged and protected, easy instructions and easy to put together, all the holes lined up and every piece accounted for. Bought this for our waiting area at our business but would look great in our home as well. Seems pretty sturdy and easy to clean. Very happy with this side table!

I bought this to match with the coffee table and end tables I had purchased from same manufacturer. It is just as nice,the only thing wrong was it did have a very noticeable scratch/gauge on the one lower shelf that is visible. I wasn't about to try and pack it back up,since this was the last piece I removed from the box. Thank god for "doilies". If it wasn't for the scratch,it would have been 5 stars.

This is the second piece that I’ve purchased from this company. They are all stunning and seem to be made very well.

I like this product very much. It is the perfect solution for our living room family board games. It assembled quite easily and is very attractive and sturdy. I have had it about 3 and 1/2 weeks and the table top has bowed downward. I am not sure if this happened during the shipping process or if it happened here at my home. Nothing heavy has been placed on it. That is why I only gave it a 2 star rating. I have contacted SImpli-Home and am awaiting advice from Customer Service. I will update this review when I hear back from them.July 23, 2020. I did return this coffee table and ordered a replacement. It came quickly and again was easily put together. However, in a matter of 1 week, the top started to bow downward. The instruction booklet that came with it does make a statement about possible warping due to home humidity. Nevertheless, I do not think this is reasonable for a nice piece of furniture and I have never ever had any furniture warp in this fashion. I am not going to return this 2nd table but I cannot in good conscience recommend this item.August 16 update: Yesterday I noticed a crack has appeared in the top of the table. I have never experienced anything like this. I have missed my window of opportunity to return this item and threw out the box a while ago so will be stuck with this. My advice: DO NOT BUY this coffee table.

We like the table. It appears to be sturdy wood and a nice color; and it fits a small space well. The main issue we encountered was during assembly. The instructions were clear and we had all of the parts, but the top did not fit correctly with the legs (the legs were too wide AND long to fit inside the apron under the table top--off by about a quarter of an inch in both directions). Yes, we assembled it correctly.... the assembled legs simply did not fit the space under the top. We pondered our options and ultimately decided to notch out the legs to make them fit using a small saw. Some "elbow grease", sawdust, and 30 minutes later, the top was on!We're happy with the final product, but I hope others do not encounter the quality issue we did. Ultimately, it's something my wife and I can laugh about now, but it was frustrating at the time thinking we'd have to reach out to the company, explain the issue, convince them it is a defect, send it back and wait for a replacement.Aside from this issue, it's a great little table.

This item was packaged well. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that it came with spare hardware. It was easy to assemble and the only extra tool needed is a Phillips screwdriver, an allen key is included. The hardware is all numbered and helps when assembling and following the instructions.I would say the farmhouse grey is a bit more on the brown side than I expected, but I can live with it. Overall, it is a good quality table. I would have bought two had there been two in sock in this colour and price point. It would be nice to see one a bit larger or one with a drawer option.
