Good elbow guards
Like the sleeve, strap design. Good coverage, protects elbow area. Dislike sleeve fit, too tight even for my average build (minus 1 star)

Better than most budget pads
I think these are better than most budget pads. Sure there are cheaper pads out there but with the quality of protection I was seeking, these fit the bill nicely.I was seeking something that would protect my elbow if I fell backwards onto my elbows. I was also seeking something that would not rotate around my arm if I fall with a forward motion & my arms are outstretched.Like most elbow pads, these have a protective plastic outer shell sewn to a more rugged material with a soft inner liner so it can be worn on bare skin with no irritation (depending on your sensitivity), & lastly, a stretchable neoprene sleeve sewn into the frame of the pads PLUS three velcro straps; two around the forearm & one around the bicep. These pads are interchangeable so you can put the left on right, right on left ... depending on how you like to tighten the velcro straps.I do not care for the velcro straps themselves. The velcro is fine I think (until it wears out or collects too much lint to attach the hook & loop. Keep it clean & it should last you a couple years at least.), but the strap itself is of a very soft material that constantly gets snagged on the hook part of the velcro making it look all ratty & thrashed. The neoprene sleeve has a soft rubber line on the inside edge of it (see attached pic) to help keep the pad from rotating or sliding on the arm. While this rubber line makes putting the pad on the arm a bit more difficult, it is a nice security feature to keep the pad in place in a crash.the elbow pad itself completely contains the elbow, encompassing the elbow in a bowl if you will, & wraps around the arm enough that the pad will not easily rotate around the arm.I bought the L-XL size & while it fits nicely against my bare arm, when the time comes for a jacket in cooler weather, it is going to be a bit tight & difficult to put on. But that just means I will have to stay out & play longer right?Overall, for the price of $29.95, I am getting a well designed, good quality protective pad that will stay in place when I need it to.

My forearms are 13.25in around and these fit great.
I think anybody that's complaining about these being too small. Has never worn a compression sleeve or didn't leave these on long enough to warm up and stretch out. Straight out of the box, these elbow guards, are going to feel like they are squeezing the blood out of your arms but once they warm up and you've worn them in on a ride, they feel like second skin, which is how I want my armor to feel. Like it's glued in place, should I take a spill. My forearm is 13.25 inches and my bicep is 15.5 inches for your fitment reference. The only durability issue that might arise, is the Velcro strip is too short, causing some minor pulling of the underlying fabric. Over time, it will become stringy and that may bother you, but that's why I own scissors.

Good pads but run small for any 240+ lbs and 6' tall.
They fit ok, and I can fasten them and they're comfortable, but they're just barely big enough and feel a little tighter than I'd prefer. There should be another sizing option just slightly bigger than these. My arm right below the elbow is 12.5 inches in diameter. And right above the elbow it's 13" in diameter and these pads just barely fit.Quality on them is decent, but I feel like the velcro won't last long in the dirt/mud of the atv trails I ride on.They'd be better design with adjustable straps and quick release buckles as opposed to just relying on velcro.Nothing worse than an elbow pad that keeps coming undone while riding as velcro wears out. So knocked a star for that and not having more sizing options.Overall good buy though, at this price, I'd rebuy them when they go bad.
